Ease of Use : 10
Analog chorus. Not overpowering like a digital chorus. Very good subtle chorus tones. Built like a brick. Very quiet too.

Sound Quality : 10
This chorus sounds great. It is fully analog, so it doesnt mask you guitar's tone. The three knobs do what they are supposed to. It is a really great chorus at a very inexpesive price.

Reliability : No Opinion
built very well. dont aniticipate any issues. I have only had it a couple of weeks, but already been gigging with it. No troubles.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I have not had to contact the mfg. But they have a nice website, and the vendor I got it from, dragonfly is excellent.

Overall Rating : 10

I tried tweaking every combination of settings the 3 control knobs would give me; I could not get a usable sound-very watered down & weak. The only time I actually heard a variance in the sound is when I buried the depth & mix knobs. This produced an unacceptable noise. To my knowledge the pedal was not modified, just regular factory stock. It did not come with a user manual, just literature on more Artec items.

I am using a 2003 mex.strat w stock pick-ups: Amp is a Crate Stealth GT-50 tube combo. I bought this pedal because of the analog build & the true by-pass. Maybe I have been playing too loud-too long, but I truely could not hear an acceptable sound level from this pedal. I wanted to like it. I just could not hear it; the sound is just too weak, too soft/ absolutely no thickness to it. I like clean, but this chorus pedal almost sounded non-existant. The 'George Harrisonish' guitar run on "Badge" was what I was looking for, something of that sort. All this pedal would do is boost my high-end about 5-6% when I engaged it-I could hear no chorus effect.

Reliability : 8
I have been stomping on it for about 3 weeks now, continuously. It seems to be well-made; metal housing & jacks. I would gig with it, but as with most mass-produced Chinese stomp-pedals, I'd use a back-up.

Customer Support : No Opinion
seller=Dragonfly (Steve-ebay) sells these out of Chicago. Artec seems to be a Korean company that has their stuff built in China (like everybody else). Steve certainly answered his emails quickly before the sale. I am trying to return the pedal-so far, he has not responded to my email. No real dealings with cust. service

We play 60's-80's classic rock. This is why I wanted an analog chorus. I am 57, started playing in 1967. I have a Yamaha fs420 lefty dreadnaught acoustic/electric guitar. 2 mex. strats, & a heavily modified lefty O.L.P.MM-1..Amps=Crate Stealth 1x12 GT-50 tube combo, Crate GX-130C s.s. 2x12 stereo combo, peavey envoy 110 practice amp. a few spkr. cabs., & various other stuff... I find this pedal to be unacceptable. I am serious-maybe I have suffered some hearing loss over the many years, but I cannot hear this pedal; it is way, way too weak & watered down for me. I bought my nephew a Danelectro Fab chorus pedal new for $16 bones. I A/B ed the Artec chorus & the dano. The danelectro blew it away. The Artec is gorgeous-looking , but the plastic Dano sounded much thicker, & fuller.

Very easy to use. Classic style pedal with 3 knobs: speed, mix and depth. 1 input, 1 output.

Sound Quality : 9
I love this pedals sound. It's very crisp and clear. Very modern sounding. It's not a super thick, muddy tone. I can't really compare it to anything else. It's just smooth and nice. Beautiful tones from it.

Reliability : 10
It's all metal housing and built tough as a tank. Solid as a rock. I don't foresee any problems with it. Well made.

I got it from ebay. The seller that sells them in the USA is (((Dragonfly))). Fast shipping and answered all my questions quick. No problems.

Overall Rating : 9
For the money, this pedal is great. If you are bored with the standard boss pedals out there, try an Artec. They're cheap and they rock! If it breaks or gets lost, i will buy another artec.
