this thing sounds amazing with my strat and ac15!!! i can get sustain for days when pushing the amp into distortion.
i used to have a rangemaster clone from ebay (with no brand) and this sounds much better with less noise. i think the boost is a little different although someone told me the orange treble and bass booster is very similar to the rangemaster, but i don't know they sound different.

i've talked with arteffect after having some problems with my power adaptor - seems you have to use one with different polarity so mind that. they were quick to answer and very clear and nice.

if you have an old vox or any amp you want to push into break-up or distortion with tons of harmonics, a sound that can really stand out when you are playing with a band get this booster. i really like it and it stands out visually on my pedal board as well!

this is about as easy at it gets - one knob. not too much to write about, you just set how much treble boost or cut-off you want and that's it!

i bought this booster because i wanted to get an early clapton / cream tone from my rig. i always felt that i lack that germanium "dirt" and there is no other way of obtaining it other than using a germanium booster. i looked for a booster with a real mullard oc76 because many people say these sound amazing. i was very surprised that this booster is not noisy at all, even on high settings! back to the tone... this thing sounds outstanding! i don't think i can stress this point enough but if you want a germanium tone get this booster and you will get that sound in a heartbeat! i like the fact i can also cut treble and not just boost like most other treble boosters do. there are so many boosters on the market today and it is impossible to test them all - luckily for me i hit jackpot with this one!

seems to be very well made. the box is aluminum and paint is powder-coat. on the inside, all the components are facing the inside of the box so you can't touch them while changing the battery. however, i have this booster for a short while so i can't really rate anything.

i play for about 10 years. i like classic rock and blues. i have a stratocaster (usa) and a vintage marshall jtm45 amp. i don't use many effects, maybe a wah pedal, digital delay and EH reverb. i was lacking something in my sound and the orangen is just what i was missing. i can get unbelievable tone and makes me wonder if this is really my own rig that i'm playing!!! it is strange how a little device like this could change this much in an entire rig and it's just a treble booster. :)
i tend to leave it on for entire songs on a lower setting, it feels like a breath of fresh air to my amp.
regarding other treble boosters, i only heard the keeley java boost at a local store on a crate v1512 combo, sounded nice but the price was too high. i only used the orangen with my own amp and i **think** it's less noisy than the keeley.

Tom is the man ! , any questions just ask him he always replies
imo this guy is as good as ANY boutique electronics maker out there
I have had 5 things from him and STILL have all of them whilst I have sold some of my Keeley , Lovepedal , Fulltone stuff , I'm not knocking these guys as they make some fab stuff but NOT ALL of it I have tried is fab ! where as ArielFX /Artteffect stuff has always been 100% superb .

I would give it a 9 but that would be unfair because I would be rating it on my overall sound , I dont have an AC30 any more so it doesnt sound exactly like I would want it to , ie Rory Gallagher Brian May , but I know it would if I had one !!
It does all the stuff through my Marshalls , I can throw at , enhances everything and compresses wonderfully when hit hard , it really does "nearly" do the Rory /May type sound even through the Marshalls !! get one you will Love it .

I bought this booster to get my tube amp (Fender Hotrod DeVille) roaring around it's breakup point. I set it with single coils to the verge of breakup and the Orangen sends it to harmonics-heaven. I love Rory Gallagher's tone and with this germanium booster thrusts my Strat, blowing the tube amp all the way - sticky and searing sounds! I think you got the picture... I like it :)
As with all germanium booster (I had an RM clone that is now in the closet) it's not dead quiet, but the "feel" of NOS Mullard transistor is worth it (I also have Mullard NOS tube in my amp's preamp and power tubes are JAN)

Seems rugged enough - I have it for a short while. I gigged with it though, and so far it works perfectly.

I play Blues and rock (from classic rock to grunge). I play for almost 8 years now. I use this booster with my Ibanez semi-hollow (1983 AM100) as well and it shines beautifully with both pickups on. It suits my needs very well, as I'm more of a bare-bones-signal-path kinda guy, and btween my Wah and vibe - it gets me to the tones I want. If it were stolen, I would be heart-broken, because I really like this little booster.
So, that's it - I love the germanium rouchiness and it looks awsome :)
