In one respect, this is an easy to use pedal. 5 pots and a switch. But in another respect, it's difficult, because getting any usable sounds out of it is impossible.

I was surprised as to just how bad it sounded. I own a Ashdown Drive Plus pedal and have been pretty happy with it. But this thing is NOISY! It adds a terrible hiss at any setting (some settings make it worse than others), and anytime I turned the Chorus/Flange knob towards Flange, I got terrible high pitched sounds. This happened even without a bass plugged into it! I returned it after one day.

It's built like a tank, so I think it would last, but I'm not giving it a chance to.

I haven't had to talk with Ashdown, but the retailer where I bought it from was good.

I was looking for a subtle chorus effect to use from time to time, but this thing is just bad. I'm going to try the DigiTech X Series Bass Chorus next. It appears that these are being discontinued because they are getting harder to find and the price is falling. That's a good thing because they need to be discontinued... I try hard to keep my effects chain clean - I use as little as possible and am picky about what I do use. Currently I use a Aphex compressor, Korg tuner, and an Ashdown Drive Plus. This is a completely different animal than the Drive Plus pedal and would not recommend it whatsoever.
