THis is an idiot proof wireless system. I use the 3000 series for my guitar and for wireless headset(CROWN) both work flawlessly. We play indoors and out and never yet had any problems. Another great feature is you can mount 2 side by side only using 1 rack space. The manual is almost too easy to understand.

I have many different guitars so they all use the wireless ranging from Tele to Explorer to Strat to acoustic/electric. I took the time to set the squelch and fine tune the other options like the filter and have nothing but success. When I play my A/E I run straight into the board but with my electrics I have a Marshall stack and sound is very good, no tainting from the 3000.

I depend on it all the time. We have extra cables and mics but I have never even considered setting up extra "just in case"

Never had to deal with the company, and I have lots of other A.T. products.

This is about as simple as it gets. Turn it on and go! One note for first-time users, though. If you buy this new, check the switch inside the battery compartment of the body pack. I got no signal to the receiver at first, and found there's a switch for mic or guitar. It was set on mic so I switched it to guitar and it's worked flawlessly since. Probably would have caught that if I'd read the manual, but who does that? It uses AA batteries which is a plus. I use rechargeables and they work great in it.

This why I bought this unit. Perfect sound! I've owned Nadys, Samsons, and Shures over the years. It blows them all away. I tried Sennheiser, the new Shures, AKGs, etc., when I was shopping for a new wireless and picked the AT for sound quality and price. Definitely the most and best bang for the buck.

Never had to use support, but I imagine they're nice, but lonely folks, sitting by the phone waiting for it to ring.

I'd give it a 10, but there might be something better out there that I haven't found, but I'm more than satisfied with my AT. Reliable, top quality sound in a sexy package. What more could ya want?

Sounds good....doesn't change original sound at all, which is all you can ask for a wireless

This is where I am going to warn everybody.
DO NOT BUY this unit. I bought the first one, took it to a gig, and it kept cutting out. So I stopped using it. When I got it home and was able to look at it closely, I noticed that whenever it switched to antenna A, it was cutting out. No output from antenna A. No matter which antenna was plugged in that side....I tried switching. So, I took it back and got another unit. After one week, it stopped working. Completely different problem. The belt pack would switch off by itself. It was NOT dead batteries, I tried replacing them.
I have been a full-time professional guitar player for over 25 years. I guarantee you, I know how to use a wireless system. I have used 3 Samsons in my career, and had them for 7 or 8 years before they needed replacing. I also have a Sennheiser...no problems at all, but expensive. I will always take the blame if something I'm using stops working. But that is not the case here. I had 2 of these. Both stopped working, or didn't work at all, within the first week. You can draw your own conclusions about these AT wirelesses from that.

See above. Full time pro for many years. My gear must always work, every time, or it's useless to me. Especially when it's brand new. If it fails after years of use, then I will cut it some slack...but not in THIS case.

Very surprised.....didnt squash my tone range at all. All wireless systems probobly use a compander circut, that is, a compression and expander circut. These are nessasary for the transmission and reception of sound waves in the uhf or vhf form. Unfortunately, alot of times, this will knock off some of your highs, lows, or midrange, depending on what frequency you're using. This unit is frequency agile, (selectable), works great.

Yes, would not be too concerned about it...seems to work well in just about every situation. As everyone else does, I bring along a hard-wire, just in case.

Well they answer their phone, and seem to be very helpful if you aren't sure what you're looking for.

Realy seems to handle all types of music well. I also own a new Shure UT-14 "guitarist" system, and while it works fine also, it's not frequency agile, so if you just happen to be somewhere where its not compatable, you're using the wire...
