I can't tell the difference between this and a cable.

I haven't gigged with it yet. I use it for all of our practices. I love not being tied down with a cable.

I've owned this for a few months, and can't believe I didn't buy one sooner!! It does eat batteries though, have plenty on hand. Expect a few hours out of it, and be ready to change them. It's worth it to be wireless.

This is a very userfriendly product. Of course you have to adjust the impedance on the transmitter but this really is a piece of cake. There is even a little screwdriver inserted in the transmitter. The manual is also very easy to read, just a few pages.

Just turn the AF level to the maximum, you will have the same sound as a cable! (I tried to hear the difference but there just is non)
No noises or what so ever. I compared it with some cables like Whirlwind etc. There are no flaws, hiss or any of that shit even when you walk out of the pub, no problem.

It has a metal casing and it is very well constructed but when I have a gig a have backup for everything. But I am not worried it will let me down.

I've been playing for more than 14 years now.I play my own music, which is progressive rockmusic (check www.nomansland.info)so real high gain settings most of the time. I use it with my Marshall TSL60 top and a Peavey Wolfgang USA. If it where stolen I;d buy it again. I love it because it's a vey simple device, very easy use, and it looks very dependeble, and the sound quality is very good. I compared it to Sennheiser, Samson etc. I decided i did not need 50 channels etc. I just wanted something that does not eat my sound, this is it.

Very easy to use. It has a good manual and the receiver shows you all the information you need to know, like RF level, input level and channel. Only the battery cover is a bit tricky to snap in. A little screwdriver for the input sensitivity of the transmitter is held in a clip beside the battery.

I use this wireless system with tube and solid state amps and a multieffect processor. The atw 1451 produces very few noise. I'm using a noisegate all the time, so I don't hear any noise. But you can also use it without a noisegate. The dynamic range is OK and the signal qualitiy is perfect. When I first read about this device I was a bit sceptical because it has a frequency response from 100 Hz - 15 kHz. So I thought a lot of good bass frequencies are cut off. When I plugged it in I was amazed to hear no difference between the frequency response of this device and a cable.

I played only one show with this device. No dropouts, no interference (although I had to swith off the in-ear transmitter of the keyboarder, because he used the same frequency :-] )
Be shure to have a reserve battery.

I'm very satisfied with this device. I've made some negative experience with other wireless devices and I think this is the best wireless system for guitar in this price range. In addition it has already some rack mounting plates included.
