Two channels, a lo contour and a process knob for each channel, and an effect on/off switch. There was no manual, but if you need one for this, then you're a dumbass!

I run this thing through the loop of my 5150, after my delay effects. This thing really did change my amp, a lot. It sounds great clean, but added a huge amount of bottom end and presence to my distortion. I like my 5150, but had a hard time getting some "edge" out of it, this thing cleared that problem up in seconds. This really puts out a metallic crunch. Almost every major guitar player uses one of these. This is the ticket if you want to maximize control over your distortion.

I could easily depend on this thing in a gig situation. There's not much really to break on it. I could gig without one, but I never would.

I play all sorts of music, except country. I love a good distortion sound and the 482 gives me that sound. Look under my 5150 review for more info on my gear and sound.
