ease of use? uh, it powers your pedals
bonus points for 2 included reverse polarity cables[finally i can power my orange ross phaser]
also great if you have line 6 effects [i dont!]
mini dip switches change six of the 9v outputs[100 milliamps available] to 12v and two of the 9v outputs[200 milliamps] to 16 volts. its great to have the option of all 9v outputs as i could never find a use for the three 18v outputs on my dc brick.
cool racing stripe graphics too!

ok, here is why i decided to review a rather boring piece of gear. PROS - ITS QUIET! unlike my dc brick
IT COSTS LESS THAN A VOODOO LAB PEDAL POWER II !
IT CAN BE USED IN EUROPE! like the dc brick,unlike the voodoo lab
IT HAS ISOLATED OUTPUTS = quiet,less line noise
IT LOOKS COOL AND HAS A BLUE LED [keeley?]
IT HAS eight 9 volt OUTPUTS [7 in my dc brick]
IT HAS A STURDY COMPUTER STYLE CORD INSTEAD OF A WALL WART! [i bought a 10 foot european cord for use oversease when traveling]
CONS - its about twice the size of the dc-brick and twice as heavy
it gets a little warm,like an amp transformer,but it is well ventilated

i've toured with my dc brick for 9 years without one hiccup or gremlin. if the bbe stands the test of time it will be the finest power supply available at any price. i was considering buying a furman power factor pro[$300.00!] because at home my rig was terribly noisey and the 110 voltage is horrible.
but the supacharger cleaned it right up and i saved $175.00 in the process.

wish list? yeah,i wish it had a sag control on a couple outputs cause my distortion/overdrives sound nive at 5.5 volts. but this feature doesnt justify the higher price of the voodoo lab ppII IMHO.
maybe a secret compartment for contraban would be a plus.
i wish it was smaller and lighter but the i wish all my pedals were in mxr bud boxes!
