Barge Concepts VB-Jr

Very easy and simple to use. Can dial in any amount of blend you want simply by turning the dial. From 0% to 100%. Press the button to engage the blend loop, press again to bypass all pedals in loop. Great for use with my bass guitar and EH Big Muff.

The one bad thing I've found about this pedal is that if you use batteries (which, live, i don't) you need to remove the entire back cover (4 screws)to access it. Screwing it back in again can be kinda touchy because you have to get the screws lined up properly with the holes or your screw won't go in all the way, and too much of this and i'm guessing you might wreak the threads. I guess this is the price you pay for having a pedal made so tough. So, if you're a battery guy, this might be a little issue. it'd likely take you a couple minutes to do a battery change, not a good thing live. I don't know how battery life is for this. If it weren't for the lack of easy access to the battery area...an easy 10 stars...but..since a blend should be pretty simple to make simple...it's a 6.

Works great, love it! Haven't noticed any noise, or tone loss from it.

Looks super tough, made outta metal. Inside guts are super clean! Very neat, clean pedal. No issues yet, had it less than 6 months.

Rocking pedal, great for taming unruly effects, reserving some original tone, low end..etc.

FINALLY! A small footprint, true-bypass footswitchable loop that has a blend knob for controlling effects on the pedalboard from wet to dry. It even has a two-color LED changing from red (bypass) to blue (loop engaged) if you are into these kinda things.

Pristine sound quality. No noise, no crackles, nice sweep of the pot. I use it with my Boss delays (DD-6, RE-20) to get rid of noise and digital artefacts of their lowly buffering systems - instant relief in the studio! Also I got some great sounds out of blending in my octave fuzz pedal - too bad I didn't think of ordering an expression pedal input for the blend function. With compressors you can blend a touch of unaltered attack to nicely squashed sustained stuff to get the best of both worlds.

Too early to say, it's new. Looks well made inside and out tho.
