I??m using it with a marshall amp and a washburn (ibanez rg type guitar with dimarzio super distortion pickup)boss chorus, cry baby, marshall jack hammer, beheringer booster and danelectro pb&j delay
ok this little pedal does its job it simulates 4 diferrent types of acoustic guitars it sounds pretty realistic (close but no cigar)
the problem is that it sucks at least half of my volume and if you turn up the volume it starts distorting your sound terribly, with humbuckers its almost useless but since i have coil splitting in my guitar i can say that it sounds definetly sounds better with single coils.
it has too much compression for my taste and when you switch it on it makes a huge clicking sound and at high volumes it could couse a couple of your fans to go deaf.
well i guess the bottom line is you get what you pay for, although nat all beheringer pedals that bad i??ve used a blues overdrive and a booster and there pretty decent but steer clear of this one unless you??ll leave it switched on all night and raise the volume of your amp.

i think its a matter of luck my booster pedal is 100% reliable but this acoustic simulator mmm not that much people complain about the plastic a lot its really pretty sturdy unless you weigh 500 pounds and stomp with all your mite it shouldnt break the internal components on the other hand, are what worry me though

I play pop/rock/metal/blues mainly pop and rock nowadays
if it wasn??t for the volume and the clicking noise it would get a 10 because it doesnt sound bad at all, but unfortunatly those issues make it practicly useless for a live gig so i??ll give it a 2

This is where I think this pedal can do what you want or not. I use this pedal with my Taylor acoustic/electric guitar to go direct for recording in my studio. It is by far a tremendous improvement in sound/tone and gives it that true acoustic recorded sound. Did exctly what I wanted it to do. No noise, nice clear tone.. Never even tried it on an electric, I dont like the way any acoustic modelers sound on electric guitars.. I give this a ten for my application of this pedal and what I needed it to do.

I was looking for a pedal to go direct with my acoustic to soften the sound and give it more that acoustic flavor like through an acoustic amp. It met my needs and I very happy with this purchase. I would buy another one and I would compare it to the Boss AC2 I have that as well.. Though that one is built much better the tones are similar. It has helped me get the tone I wanted for recording my acoustic guitar directly.. I am very anal about tone and sound and this really does the trick. Use with an acoustic/electric guitar and get a real nice tone when plugged in!!!

this rating is strictly as a fun device for distorting / altering analogue synth sounds, a technique brian eno is said to have used a sansamp for.
as such, i think i??ll keep it in my arsenal. if i want the sound of an acoustic guitar, i think i??d reach for the real thing.
i think the whole beauty of these behringers is that you can try weird pedals that you don??t REALLY need without having to break the bank.
some are actually quite good in a serviceable, workmanlike way, rarely breathtakingly good but still fun.

Pretty simple - the hardest part with any pedal is deciding what it is you actually want. I used it for 1st time last night on two particular songs. It took me 10 mins to get the sound that worked best for me. I used a Boss Chorus with it on one song(29 Palms) and a Boss DD3 delay just on the slide guitar part of the other song (Wish You Were Here)

Used last night with a Clapton Signature Strat into a Fender Hot Rod Deville 4 x 10. I have a Pedal Pad with Cry Baby Wah, Line 6 Distortion Modeler and Various Boss stuff. I set the Behringer up next to the pedal board at the end of the chain. It did the job I wanted it to do, very well indeed. OK - it ain't gonna make even your expensive electric sound like a good acoustic. But for a couple of songs in a gig situation it did the job better than I really expected.
During sound check, I messed around with it on some high gain settings and got some interesting and possibly usable sounds which was a bonus.

Ok it's plastic, but it looks like pretty solid plastic to me. If you don't actually jump on it there are unlikely to be problems.
By the way - Boss pedals may look rugged - but have you ever actually removed the battery compartment lid? It really is very lightweight and the switching mechanism underneath is all plastic. Funnily enough, the only pedal I have EVER actually broken was a Boss Pitch Shifter.

I play in a rock covers band. I have some decent gear and this pedal -a real cheapie didn't let the team down in any way at all. I was prepared to waste ??15 - use it as a paperweight maybe if it was terrible - but I'm actually very pleased with it. Having seen some reviews of the Boss equivalent pedal, I thought it well worth trying this one and I'm probably gonna use it quite a bit.

Why can't I give a zero here? This is where it deserves one. This is the second one of these pedals I've used and both make a very audible pop through the speaker when you use the footswitch, either to turn it on or off. This makes it useless in a live setting or pretty much any instance where you'd need to turn it off or on in a song. It'd probably blow tweeters through a loud P.A. About the only way around this is use an AB box, change the AB to where this pedal is out of the signal path, then turn it on/off. I powered this pedal with an adpater and a battery it did the same thing both ways. I know this is a cheap pedal, but this is B.S.
I'm giving it a 1 here since I can't give a zero.

The AM100 is quite easy to use: 3 knobs and a 4 way switch; it isn't that hard to figure out how it works. The manual is quite small, but it isn't necessary to write a whole book about this thing, so they just threw an A5 piece of paper with the technical details in the plastic box.
Overall this thing is really VERY easy, so that explains the good rating.

My amp is a crate GT1200 if you are wondering, and my guitar is a Washburn X50 Pro FE so it has active EMG elements. This thing gives one hell of an acoustic sound! It really amazed my that a box that only costs 23euros gives such great sound!
The box isn't quite noisy, but there is a slight hiss though.
But when you're playing live the crowd listens to the guitar, not the hiss, so it can be easily neglected.

It's plastic.
Which means that if you're a black metal player with metal boots that have a 2 ton weight and you'd like to stomp around on this box, you won't be quite satisfied.
For me it's quite reliable. The plastic itself seems quite solid and I've been tapping on it a lot, without any sort of problem.

I've been playing for 4 years now, and I've seen lots of multieffects and stompboxes, and I'm very pleased with this one. If it were broken I would definately replace it, for the price it costed it isn't that hard to replace :)
I use this thing live, and I doubted between this thing and buying a real electro-acoust. Now that I own the Behringer AM100 I can just wait and save my money for a very decent guitar, and meanwhile still get a very thick and warm acoustic sound!
Love it!

The sound quality seems good at first glance. I also own the Boss Ac-3 and let me tell you this, you will look at it in an quit different way. I am not telling you off but even bindfolded the difference is for anyone with no musical background evident. Just throw it in the bin or use it for practise. People who say that it sounds just like a ac 3 lie thier eyes out because they don't tell the truth. Every value to the money. It is cheap, sounds cheap but does the job for cheap musicians.

Good sound starts with good gear and skill as an artist. For 19 euro a piece you can experiment and then buy a real one and be amazed. I use an Peavey amp, Fender Tele custom.

If you play a synth you don't play a grand piano. If you play through an acoustic simulator you don't play an acoustic guitar. Facts! This box does an equal job to what the Boss AC box does, at a quarter of the price. If you complain about lacking brightness or muffled sounds - get rid of your humbucker guitar and take a beginners course at any sound engineering school. As some other reviewers have pointed out, the amp and the guitar, the settings on any of the two as well as the mics of course mould your sound much more than any filtering effect box ever will.

Sure can and do! Other stomp boxes are usually made out of cast aluminium. Stomp (in the real meaning of the word) them and they crack. Stomp this one and it gets disformed or cracks. I mean - do you stomp your cars' pedals? Any serious player gigging without some kind of backup is a fool. The show must go on and all that. However, the AM100 is not the most likely to break link in the chain of a serious stage setup. I DO use it at all gigs (approximately 40 per year) and I have yet to see any troubles coming up.

I play and sing all tempo Rock-n-roll music from the 50's to today and I have been doing so for more than 20 years both professionally and semi professionally. When playing semi professionally I make my main living by working as an Electronics and Mechanics Design Engineer consultant for a few internationally established companies.
The AM100 provides me the ability to play intros and passages with an acoustic sound without changing from my Strats or Teles. Once again: you will not achieve anything close to acoustic sounds using humbuckers or even P90's or P100's with any stomp box of this kind.
I and the band use and own Behringer amps, valve preamps, mixers, speakers and even a Behringer guitar. Let's say it's Japanese quality or higher at clearly lower prices and with a more serious engineering approach. My guitars are Fenders, Epiphones, Godins and Martins, my song mics are Shure, Audix and ADK, my drums are Pearl Export and my main mixer a Mackie. I also use Peavey and Danelectro amps. In comparison to my Boss, Proco (RAT), Ibanez, Line6 and Zoom effect boxes there is nothing negative to say about the AM100.
Yes, I will buy a new one when/if this one is stolen or hit by a meteorite.

It's fairly easy to use, but the turning of the knobs is pretty useless since the effect is barely noticable.
However, the way to open up the battery compartment is pretty inconvenient: use the tip of a ballpoint to tear off the top... yeah right, I always carry ballpoints around when performing, NOT.
Furthermore I find the socket for the adapter on the righthand side not so usefull with my PEDALTRAIN setup. I would prefer it at the top!

With this pedal you get your money's worth: IT SUCKS! I used a Gibson Les Paul and tries all settings possible, but the effect as said is barely noticable. Surely this doesn't sound anything close to an accoustic guitar, unlike the BOSS pedal which does the job so much better.

Well.. I thinck this pedal responds well with a good amp (or directly into the PA mixer) I tried it some time ago with my Strat and a Behringer gmx212 and kicked it into a corner. Not a good expirience! Didn't sound anything like an acoustic guitar.
Today I went back to the corner and picked it up and tried it with my strat and a Peavey Valveking 112. What a difference! Playing Beatles "Blackbird" sounded crisp and clear and allmost like the real thing.
No doubt a real acoustic is better, but this would be ok at a gig.

I have tried it with a line 6 amd and a fender solid state
There seems to be a click when switching it off but not sure if this can be avoided yet
Guitars - Strat Plus, Yamaha Nylon, Godin Mandolin
Given the price it creates a good simulated acoustic on my electric - When using Mando or Nylon it actually gives a convincing acoustic sound right through a guitar amp EVEN when the amp has a bit of overdrive - Not like miking or an acoustic amp but when I want to just use an electric amp I want the option to get the acoustic sound, switch it off and then add whatever effects

Tried it for OVER THE HILLS OPENING and it sounds great! For $20 - Let's see if it lasts - If you are using one amp for electric, it makes a great way of playing Nylon, Mandolin through that amp

Well, I cant believe Ive fallen for it again........you know Ive been playing for years and I must be an eternal optimist, because I believe the hype.......forever hopeful that its really possible to get something really decent for next to nothing.........CMON THATS NOT POSSIBLE.....THIS IS A CHEAPO PEDAL AIMED AT THE NOVICE. IF YOU WANT TO SOUND LIKE THE DECENT BOSS VERSION, THEN SAVE UP AND BUY THE BOSS ONE!!
Anyway enough of my rant........it does sort of sound a bit acoustic at very low volumes-no good playing louder though, and definately not giggable.Very easy to use though.

I play through a 1984 jap strat with fat 50's (great pups!) peavy all valve-marshall compressor-wah.
I found at low vol. this sounded quite good. All the sounds are fairly similar though. However, I bought this to add something different to my band-but this is absolutely rubbish in a band situation. Not very musical - muffled and doesnt cut through AT ALL. And definately does not sound anything like an acoustic guitar at volume!
If you can play and are in a band dont even bother and pls dont take notice of the good reviews here-these are written by beginners or bedroom players.

Easy enough to use. Because I'm a dumbass, it took me a couple of tries to realize that I needed to crank the tone knob on my guitar to really have the pedal sound like anything at all. The manual is helpful enough, but as with all pedals, you have to play with it yourself to get it sounding the way you want.

I play a standard American Tele through a 1x12" tube amp. It sounds OK, but tends to hiss a bit when it's engaged, regardless of the settings. It takes a lot of tweaking to get anything close to an "acoustic guitar" sound, but for $35, nobody expects an amazing sound. If you want your guitar to sound like an acoustic, then play an acoustic.

Everyone seems to dump on the Behringer pedals for being made of plastic. I know it's called a "stomp box," but how do you people treat your gear? If you're jumping up and down on your pedals hard enough to break them, perhaps an acoustic sound isn't really what you're looking for anyway. Maybe someday it'll break, but at about a quarter of the cost of the competing BOSS pedal, I say stick with the plastic and treat it with respect. So far I've had no problems with the Behringer pedals.

Again, it's not going to make your guitar sound really close to an acoustic, so bearing that in mind, it's a good deal. Would I replace it if were stolen? Maybe, or maybe I'd use that spot on my board for a new Behringer pedal. At $35 a pop (no matter what the effect), there's a cornucopia of sounds that I'm willing to try out and then throw away if they suck. The AM-100's OK, it's more of a novelty than anything.

As I have no experience of the BOSS Acoustic Simulator it's difficult for me to judge. All I know if that I'd been itching to have a go at one and when this thing turned up I jumped at the chance!
With the electric guitar set up (Tele and 80W Marshall Valvestate)it does hiss although I'm not going to complain too much about that as it was #13! However, plugging my electro-acoustic into the same set up eliminated all hiss. I haven't tried it through PA yet but I think it'll work out fine.
As for sound, it does well to imitate an acoustic guitar from electric but I might end up using it to enhance a deeper sound from my narrow bodied acoustic. Sounded quite good. For the price, amazing.

It's feels very study for a plastic pedal. The BOSS-type rubber base makes it feel nice and solid. The battery cover/pedal is an ingenious design and I don't have any qualms about it exploding.

I was in a music store today and bumped in a full rack of Behringer pedals. I guessed that for the price each it had to suck, but I could not resist to take home two: the AB100 line switcher and the AM100 acoustic guitar modeler.
What shall I say about ease of use of this unit? It has one 4 way switch and 3 knobs. If you can't control this, you lack brains.

Well, what would you expect for 19 euro's? This won't turn your elecric guitar into an acoustic. But for just 19 euro's, the sound really surprised me. I took it home without trying it before buying. At home I put it in front of my Line6 Spider amp and was baffled. With the pedal engaged, I got a far better clean sound than just the clean channel of the amp. Tweaking the knobs helped me get "best sound". The settings are enhance at 2 o'cloeck and resonance at 10 o'clock. It's possible to really f**k up the sound with the wrong settings.

This box give me a mixed feeling. When you use it for the acc. sounds it sounds very, very convincing. Maybe not a Taylor or not a Martin, but for on stage in the mix of a band you will get a very nice accoustic sound. Works only good with single coils! I play it with a strat. than the AM100 then a POD2.3 (setting with VoxAC30, no cab.) than in a flat PA amp. Selector switch works perfect. Four diff. sounds. I use the Large setting. It makes a great difference when you dial other settings. Enhance knob is working correct. when you turn to max, you will hear max high frequency's! I set the enhance and body about 12 to 2 o'clock. The output level is a bit weak, but I can easely compensate with the POD. There is some hiss but again with my POD's noisegate no problem. I have a electro/accoustic from Ibanez, which sounds acc. beautiful, but through a PA terrible. I tried to use is in the band but it didn't work. Feedback was also a problem. So I give this stompox for the very nice sound and nonfeedback a 9!!
Now the other side of this box. In bypass mode it totally sucks my guitarsound away. Not a TRUE BYPASS in this box, oh no. Boss, Marshall, Ibanez don't have this too. I am very fond of the sound of my guitar with Bill Lawrence pickups. When I use the stompbox in bypass mode my guitar sounds through a telephone!!!! So Behringer I'm sorry, for this I give the rating a 1!!! Totally unusable!! Read on in the overall rating! So it ends up with a 5.

A 7 for the plastic box.

I was so Pi...off that this box don't have a real bypass, that I ripped the electronics out of the plastic box, made a real metall one and build in a REAL BYPASS. So now it is working very well. Nice acc. sounds AND nice bypass sounds!!! When Behringer had done this, maybe it wouldn't be so cheap but than they would have a winner!! If it was stolen, I run to the store and get a new one, ripp it off and make again a metall case and bypass for it. Very good electronics and good sound. So the overall rating in the condition that I have it now, a big 9! Fantastic value totally usable

Really easy to get a good sound out of this right out of the box. Since my guitar can get really, really bright, I just set it on "Jumbo," max out the "resonance" and cut all of the "enhance."

I'm using my Epiphone Chet Atkins SST (the one with Chet's sig on the headstock from Korea). I took it out of the packaging, popped a Monster 9V battery in there and ran it straight into my Marshall AS50R's acoustic input and it was like going from tinny to deep, huge, & inspirational tone! Oh, there is *some* hiss that is added to the signal, but if you accentuate your highs on the guitar, you can turn the treble down on the amp, and viola! No more hiss! Someone mentioned that running it through an FX loop would yeild no hiss. However, for me, there was more hiss using the FX loop of my amp.

I'd like to think so. It is plastic, so I'm planning to treat it with care. I'l probably just leave it engaged the entire time sitting on top of my amp for gigs. It's my only one, so yes. No backup.

I play modern rock and acoustic shuffle in our worship band and blues on the side. This is basically my simplified worship leading rig: Chet SSt --> AM100 --> Marshall AS50R. If I'm aiming closer to perfection, I add all the modulation effects of my Digitech RP-1 in the FX loop. As I said, the tone is getting me much closer to "inspirational," and that's what I demand form my tone and gear. But I'm also on a budget, which is why I sprang for the AM100 instead of the BOSS version. As far as I can tell, I got a good pedal at a great price. My simplified electric rig is: '92 Japanese Squier Strat --> Voodoo Labs Sparkle Drive --> Vox AD30VT. I also have an Epi J160e mostly for unplugged use leading worship in a living room setting or writing songs.

Easy as any pedal. The packaging makes it very convenient to store as the card slides open to put the pedal in and out, assuming you remove the staples when you first get it, and don't rip it open. The DC jack for external power is on the input cable side which I would prefer on the top. A right angle plug on your patch cable could cover the DC jack depending on how you place the cable. Still totally usable.

I am using an Ibanez GRX40 (Strat style with H-S-S) with a solid state Randall amp. I found it very easy to get a variety of sounds out of it. I found that using the humbucker into it is a bit too much input and will cause it to distort the treble with harder strumming. Backing down on the guitar volume control prevents this. Single pickups sound better to me and still allow for a lot of sound choices. I generally run the enhance and resonance controls between 12 and 2 o'clock and like the top two switch positions. Given the price, I have to give it a 10.

Looks very sturdy and reasonably reliable for a $20 pedal. Like almost any pedal, if you drop it on the knobs or step on the knobs controls I'm sure they would break in short order.

I lead a worship band, playing a variety of styles. In the middle of a set, I needed to be able to immediately get an acoustic sound without changing guitars. This pedal fit the bill perfectly.
My Overall rating has to be a 10!! Purchased online at music123.com with FREE shipping. The whole new line of low-cost stompboxes from Behringer are a great value in my opinion. I have several and find they compare well with the way-overpriced $100 pedals we were trained to pay for all these years !!
If I lost, I would buy again immediately.

I have tried this unit using an Ibanez Artcore AF75 and a Gibson les Paul Jr Special through a Crate GX60. This pedal makes a huge amount of noise if plugged from the guitar into the pedal then into the amp but when I plugged it into the effects loop the noise greatly reduced and the unit became pleasurable. much like an acoustic guitar the guage of the strings makes a big difference, with .009s thin and twangy with .011s much, much more convincing.

I play classic rock and was looking for a quick change to an acoustic sound on stage. It seams like the pedal is an OK value but what bothers me is the need for the effects loop. If your amp doesn't have one the pedal is useless. On the other hand If you knew this info before you bought it could represent a a very good pedal and a very nice value.

Not terribly complicated but not as easy as other pedals to get a nice sound out of it. I just got this a week ago and haven't bothered with the manual, though I'm already familiar with the Boss version of this, which is definitely, er, similar.
I started with all the knobs dimed and it sounded very awful. I backed them all back here and there and started to get something reasonable. I had to try a lot of different combinations before I settled on setting that I've decided is as good as it's going to get. Not puzzling at all, just not "magic" right out of the box.

It sounds pretty much like the Boss version, only weaker, meaning it's not a great acoustic modeller (nor is Boss's, IMO). There are some decent acoustic modelling patches in some multi-fx units I've tried here and there, but even the better ones can leave something to be desired, though I imagine anyone and everyone knows this is the reality, so I won't get into it further. It changes your sound all right, gives it "acoustic" flavor, but no substitute, sound-wise, for the real thing.
I must stress that the pedal is weak. Even with the "Level" dimmed it cuts my signal. Bumping up the other settings helps but also whacks out the EQ in ugly ways, and adds hiss. I know it's supposed to change the sound from "electric" to "acoustic" but it can really knock the balls off your signal and tone. My actual acoustic guitar belts out my playing with balls. This doesn't. I don't know any other way to put it.
About the hiss, and more about the sound: Was terrible at first. I've tinkered with this new pedal every night for a week now, and I've gotten better results now, but it took some trial and error. For one, I had to put a battery in it to get the fidelity in a usable range. Both power sources I used (Boss & Visual Sound) gave me horrible hiss. With a battery, it's much better. Also, it WILL clip if you hit it with too much signal. I had it after my boost pedal and it distorted awfully. Now it first in my chain, which is, again, much better.
The mode switch doesn't do much at all. Changes the tone slightly, but no one setting is discernably 'better' than the others. You just pick one and forget it.
So: IF you go easy on the "Enhance" and "RES" (which at high settings will whack out the sound, and not in a good way), and IF you use a guitar and amp that aren't sensitive to hiss (or, better yet, go with a DI box), and IF you use a battery, and IF you don't put it after any FX that raise the signal level, and IF you dime the "Level" knob so there's little no volume drop, THEN you have yourself a nice little pedal that gives you a whole other "acoustic" gear to switch to at the stomp of your toe.
Not what I'd call a great sounding pedal, but a nice flavor if set well.

Errrr... it's all plastic and feels it. When you switch it on/off there's a plastic-on-plastic 'snap' to it that's not very reassuring, but to be fair it hasn't failed to engage or disengage once so far, not in the least, so maybe it's stronger than first impressions would have you believe.
I got this for recording, for experimenting with tones, so it'll receive the loving, in-studio treatment exclusively. I honestly don't imagine falling in love with the sound enough to ever feel like I'd need it at a gig.

I would never use this seriously or as an actual substitute for an acoustic guitar, but it's kinda cool for what it is, considering the price. I got this 'cause I like processing sound and variety in tones, and it was cheap.
I wish the fidelity was better. It's kind of a toy, nothing more. Not unusable though, once set correctly, and actually can be nice in ideal conditions. I looking forward to trying it with different instruments than guitar, just for fun.

Well, it's not like a "real" acoustic, it's a great imitation anyway!! It's better than more acoustic sounds from piezo pickup on electric guitar. If you have the possibility to place a Eq after this pedal you'll be able to get a real cool acoustic sound...
There's only a thing that leave me a bit disappointed: the Enhance control produce a bit of noise....

It's a cheap pedal... The sound it's really great, the body not so much: it's all plastic and the In-Out outputs don't have the "classic" screwnut...
Replacing battery it's a bad thing: you've to find a small pointed thing to push the hinges, and the room for the battery isn't so large...
Anyway it seem strong: unless you drop it or jump on it the pedal should work well for a lot....

1 switch (4 modes Standard, Large, Piezo & Bright)
3 Knobs - Level (output level), Enhance (i.e. amount of brilliance added) and Res(onance) (i.e. resonence of the acoustic guitar body)
Enhance is strange, it seems to get duller as it goes to max (not what I was expecting).
Res is great for filling out the sound.

Ok, I wasn't expecting it to actually sound like an acoustic as such (other acoustic modellers don't sound much like one either to be fair).
Using the pedal on its own into a really nice clean setting on my Amp (line 6 Flextone 2) and using an Epiphone Les Paul the guitar sounded great, I then turned the pedal on and got a lovely full sound. Turn the pedal off and my once great sounding clean sound, now sounds thin and wimpy. Turn the pedal back on and it sounds full again.
I also used it with a V-amp pro on various settins with similar results.
I used in in conjunction with other modulation effects, (this pedal before the modulation) and it sounds good. Less good afterwards (obviously).
My only gripe though, is that it has noticable noise when switched on (even the missus noticed it). I'm not sure I'd use it for recording. I might use it live though.

I've only had it a day, but it is very plasticy. I've stomped on it a couple of times and not deprssed it enough so it either never went on or never went off (operator error).
This doesn't really bother me, since it is mounted on a pedal board so is unlikely to be kicked around too much.
Getting into the battery compartment is a bit strange, you have to insert a biro into the pedal hinges. Which is fine at home. Maybe difficult to find two biros on stage though when using batteries.

I own \ have owned quite a few bits of Behringer gear over the years and the only thing that has even not worked was a V-amp I dropped and smashed a knob off. So that was my own fault.
For #13 if this broke I'd just buy a new one. (It'll cost more to repair it than buy a new one) and use the casing to house a home made effect or something.

Overall, I never thought this would remotely sound as nice as a miked up acoustic guitar, however I'm liking what it does to fill out my guitar sound. I'm slightly disappointed with how noisy it is.
I final thing which I like and may use later is that it has two outputs (Out and direct out). When you use both outputs the pedal acts like an A\B box, So when the pedal is activated, you get the affected signal through the out and the direct out is muted. When the pedal is de-activated the out is muted and the direct out plays the uneffected signal.

I sounds the same if not better than the boss. I tried an les Paul, very good, A tele, and ES355 which is the best of them.
Each guitar has its only sound through this pedal, more so than just played normally. This pedal really does enhance the sound. It takes the MID out and gives it more of a bass treble curve. Only used this for an hour, but its sounds as good as a acoustic pickup. I have a Taylor and wanted to get lazy by using an electric. This pedal is for me. It sounds like the boss maybe better. I haven't used one but have heard it used many times. So would like someone to A/B this. But if you are thinking about it Get it. Its fine.

Plastic. not as strong as a danelectro but still ok better than a cheap 'O Arion. Click sounds like a micro switch like on a game pad so should last years as long as you don't stamp on it, I don't so it will be fine. Anyway its #15 I'd get another one.
I might get more so i can set up each guitar. I love this pedal!

for the price it has to be a 10 its sound good. It wont make it sound like a real acoustic, but then again a real acoustic sounds fake with a piezo anyway, so to me it sounds the same. Its really about what guitar you want to play live, I want to play my ES355 and switch it half way to an electric. that what this pedal is for. forget Boss too. why spend all that money when you can get this.
