Ease of Use : 10
Very easy to use.

The "level" control is actually a "mix" control. It determines how much chorus effects is added to the original signal.

Sound Quality : 10
Sounds great on bass. The effect is subtle on the low notes and increases in intensity with the higher notes. This is an appropriate behaviour for a "bass" chorus.

Reliability : 10
Behringer pedals are dependable if kept safe on a pedalboard.
They are not designed to survive knocking around loose in a gig bag.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Keep the plastic wrapping in good condition just in case you get a dud.

PROBLEM - The manual states that this is a "stereo" pedal. This would normally mean that the second output would include an inverted chorus effect to give stereo width. ( That's how BOSS does it. ) This is not the case for this pedal. In "stereo" mode output B is normal and output A is simply thin and distorted. Perhaps they thought nobody would notice?

4 knobs, twist each one and it becomes clear what they do. Love the fact that I can only have the effect on the upper end, leaving the bass fundamentals clean.

Sound Quality : 9
Sounds great with very little noise. Can be subtle as I like it, or you can turn it into a full 80's style chorus pedal. I liked it enough to quit using my vintage Boss PH-1 phaser ... I know different effects, but I like what this chorus does compared to the phaser.

Reliability : 6
Unlike Boss or Digitech pedals, this feels really fragile, and Behringer doesn't have the best reputation for build quality. I've got mine mounted on a pedal board in the middle, so that should protect it a little. The battery cover is spring loaded with clips so that feels a little chinzy compared to a Boss. I wouldn't take a backup to a gig, because if it died ... oh well.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never had to deal with them. I've had a Behringer board that had blatant errors in it's schematic, and a Behringer rack compressor that's been bullet proof for a decade. Hit or miss is suspect.

Overall Rating : 8
Sure it's a cheap pedal made of plastic. It sounds like you'd expect, and if you treat it with just a little care, it should last a long time.

Not much to say here, it has 4 Knobs (which are a bit fragile), and you turn them. There's a small sheet with some instructions that comes with it.

Sound Quality : 7
The sound is nice, you can get Chorus from subtle to very strong. There's a bit of noise when activated though.

Reliability : 6
Didnt have a problem with it yet, but the knobs seem to be very fragile. I wouldn't be too rough on them.

Definatly worth the money.

Behringer bch 100 bass chorus. The most inexpensive pedal i have ever seen. If it would have broken after one evening of fun , i really wouldn't have a reason to complain, but it will last a bit longer of course.
Easy to use, use your ears.
For me 'it's the best. I own a zoom bass multi effect and a B multi effect and i always forget how to operate those high tech too many functions effectpedals. Mostley they make my bass sound bad, so i never use them.
A simple stompbox just instantly works!!!

Manual is one page with a drawing of the pedal itself, not much use...Never seen one with other brands so what's the issue..
Explaining the basics of a chorus would be a good idea, since starting musicians wil obviously try these first. And B usally has nice manuals for their other stuff.

Battery replacement is strange but easy. No need to unscrew the bottom, just push the springloaded buttons on the sides with a pen or a phillips-screwdriver. If you ever loose some parts, you can replace them with screws or pens or whatever you like.
It comes of easily and snaps in place easily. Its a different but clever solution. The casing is ABS, most carparts are made of that, so it can take some abuse, but why smash your equipment..

(Some revieuwers of other cheap B-pedals think that "plastic" is always crummy stuff, obviously they have no understanding of materials and technology. On the other hand, once i had a fine sounding ibanez wah, made of pvc. The potmeter holder broke and it could never be fixed. Metal was better for moving parts. In this case it's ABS and hardly moving parts)

Sound Quality : 7
Use it at home, for fun. I have an SWR 350 set and 4x10 on stage, but at home i use a SWR workingmans 10. Bass is a Spector ns2004 (nice equipment, check the revieuws) I play since the mid 70's so i know of the old Roland chorusses. This one sounds a lot like that old one, or as with Paul Young or Japan. it's fun in mono use, and with my headphone and a stereo guitarheadphoneamp it's realy spacy and fat. It's a BASS chorus.
I can really get a good sound with it. Didn't expect it, because my multi-effects only sounded nice on headphones, never with real amps.
I use it with the effectloop of the SWR, I never liked the idea of having a good sounding bass and quality cables, and than muffle the sound with some effectpedal -bypass or not.(Strange, since i have no problems with a tubescreamer and a wah with the stratocaster and marshall jcm 900...)

Reliability : 7
I even like it on a gig, this one sounds okay. If it would break, It would prove that it is to inexpensive to last very long, but: i think i would check an epensive metal Boss or other brands, since this pedal did prove that a chorussound can be used on stage.By me that is.
My Ibanez gitarpedals like tubescreamer and other fuzz boxes are ABS also, and the knobs felt just as flimsy, but they are still okay!!
So you never know how the Behringer will hold.
Hmm You can buy 7 or more B pedals, or one "serious" brand pedal. So I really couldn't care much for the reliabillity. Repairs on ANY pedal is almost as costly as buying a new one.

Customer Support : No Opinion
The musicstore didn't let me try the pedal, because it was so cheap. They probably would sell al lot less 100-150 euro pedals if they did let customers try it??
In a way it's stupid to buy a pedal unheard,so I WAS LUCKY IT SOUNDED NICE. (Remember that at home)

Overall Rating : 10
I play rock pop and jazz (sort of) I have no real need for effects, for my gear has a good basic sound for all styles. But it's real fun playing with this effect. My bass-sound is still there and the chorus can do nice things. With the multi-effects i had to use flanger, phaser and whatever and a headphone to get this sound, the choruspedal just gives it on the practice and stage amp.

The controls all have effect, I have no idea about the batterylife or the reliabillity of the inputplugs. The effect on-off switch is a micro-switch,i don't know how strong they are. There is the factorygarantee, so it should at least work for that long!!!

So it's about as expensive as a good Italian meal with a glass of wine and coffee, and it works real fine for now.
If it would break soon, i would be forced to look for a real expensive one, or buy 5 B's in advance... :-)
Its a 10 because the other ones are 5 times as expensive, and if the young musicians are as poor as i was in those days, they can have a good sound and still have a beer or two...

This Chorus pedal is easy to adjust, also when you are in a hurry. The buttons are quite small but just around the same as other pedals.

There is a short english manual included but you can get it in many other languages at Behringer.com

Sound Quality : 9
It sounds great and gives a good sound for quiet and light bass-solos but only when it's not turned extremely up. Then it makes a sound like those old Hammond organs with turning speaker. But thats also good if you like that.

Reliability : 8
It is not the most solid pedal i own but i would'nt mind using it for a gig. When not stamping on it i am sure it will last for a loong time.

Customer Support : 10
Heard it is great but never nedded it

Overall Rating : No Opinion
It is good for solos, but i dont really like it for anything else. It sounds a bit fuzzy.

Definately worth all the money!!!
