Its easy as like the majority of the rack mounting gear.

The manual is sufficiently good , some logics are not easy to remember.

Sound Quality : No Opinion
For me the sound quality is good , but I linked it in a special configuration allowed by my amplifier. I plugget it on my balanced output port. So it doesnt effect the main signal path at all

Reliability : 3
Huumm... I dont depend on it because this machine is not so fullfilling.

Two things are annoying :

The main defect is that the unit is not very GOOD in quickly "guess" the tune , exspecially on the bass tones (good on the treble)

Also its like the internal sampling happens avery 1 second , it doesnt shows "continuosly" the tuning ...and this is very "ugly".

As other reviews said .... the frontal part lean-out from the rack profile , reducing the visibility of the other units below.
That vertical light its not useful att all the majority of time.

Finally, the unit starts to work only some seconds after its "boot-up" (its turning ON) and its annoying too.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I had no occasions to deal with the company

Overall Rating : 3
I play prog-music for 25 years and I own lots of audio-gear (a small project studio in my home)

If it will be stolen I'll buy a Korg tuner for my rack

I expected more from this unit , with many possibilities but with fairy main feature. I bought a tuner that do many other thing but that doesnt act well right as tuner!!

Operating is not too hard and the manual is ok.

Sound Quality : 1
The reason why I??m using a tuner is to NOT disturb others so I have no
opinions about the sound. With the guitar plugged in directly it tracks very bad. So I made a "tuning-patch" with full volume and compression in my Rocktron preamp and connected the btr-2000 to the unbalanced output. So before tuning the balanced output must be muted........

Reliability : No Opinion
I would never go to a gig with just one guitar and that goes for tuners as well.

Customer Support : No Opinion
There has been no need to complain so far....

Overall Rating : 1
I??ve been a professional musician for 25 years and used several of Behringers priceworthy products. No complains until now. Bought the unit since my Boss-TU 12H finally collapsed after 20 years!! You get what you pay for so I didn??t expect too much from the BTR-2000.
But hey come on!! The design!?? With that stupid curved front the only place were it fits in a normal guitar-rack is in the bottom. And who places a tuner there? And on the top there is no use of the light unless moving the other units backwards with the result they will be covered and hard to reach..... Not really userfriendly.... Not to mention what it looks like. Using it as a racklight for a mixer there will be at least 10 height-units empty space to not be in the way....
Conclusion: I would call this a bad racklight with an additional tuner. As soon as possible I??ll get me a new boss-tu12 or checout some other real rack-tuners. And the BTR-2000 will be history.....

Connects OK but doesn't seem to do the job properly.

This seemed to work ok with electric guitar - if a little slow. The problem is that I'm a bass player. The reaction of the tuner was slow and jumpy on all strings with my 3 basses - including active EMG-fitted fender, Musicman Stingray and standard passive FenderJazz. Worst problem was that it did not tune the bottom E on any of them - at times, the E string produced no effect at all.

REturned it to the shop.

Worked 40 years on bass, including professionally. Unreliable gear is no use to me. The most useful thing was the lights which help with amp adjustments on a dark stage. Unfortunately, with its array of brightlights,it looks like a kid's toy. I've done what I should have done before - I've paid the extra for a Korg.

Fairly straightforward for basic tuning. The extra functions is has are decent, such as the lower mounted led's for lighting a rack, and the metronome. Unfortunately, it tracks badly. Very badly.

Ordered one of these. It arrived, hooked it up. Got a horrid high pitched whine from it, which also presented itself on my friends amp that I tested it on to be sure.
Returned it and got another to replace it. Did the exact same thing.
The guy at the place where I got it was apologetic and mentioned that really, it's budget equipment and he had wondered if it 'was' even faulty when I returned the first one.

Got a refund on it, and have ordered a Korg rack tuner, which I should've done originally. (And I reccomend anyone reading this does too).

For the brief time I tested both units, the tracking was piss poor on the low E on both my guitars (As much as a 4 sec delay before it registered), and one of the guitars has high-output pickups.
It tracked all the other strings quickly but the light was all over the place like a drunk driver.

Customer Support : 10
Never dealt with Behringer, but I did deal with gak.co.uk whom I bought it from, and they are legends. Guy on support (Johnny I believe) has done everything to accomodate me.
I've given them a fair bit of business over the last 2 or 3 weeks because of their great customer service.(So the 10 rating is for them, not Behringer)

I'd rather use a tuning fork than this cheap turd. In fact, I'd rather stab myself with a tuning fork.

Bought it two weeks ago and I works great. Needed a little time to understand all functions, but the manual is OK, so no big deal.

Sound Quality : 10
Well a tuner doesn't sound and it does not deteriorate the sound at all. I could hear a relay inside so I assume it's a hard bypass which is perfect.

Reliability : 10
Had no problems so far and also never a problem with my 10 pieces of Behringer equipment.

Customer Support : 10
Whenever I had a question, they responded cordially and competently. Really nice guys.

Overall Rating : 10
Perfect for what it does and 1/5th of a Korg tuner which is truly a fantastic value. No regrets at all.

Of course, this is a tuner rather than an effect per se. It is very easy to set up and use. There's really not much to know about it and the manual is comprehensive and clear. The buttons are all illuminated in red which makes them easy to see on stage and looks cool too. The rack lights underneath are useful.

The big downside is that is a terrible tuner! I use it with bass so I don't know if it is better with a guitar but it is just rubbish. The tuning lights just bounce around all over the place and it seems to need a huge signal to work at all. It only really works for the first second or two after plucking the string. There is no comparison at all between this and say the Boss TU-2 (which just gets on with the job).

Sound Quality : 10
It doesn't seem to have any affect on the sound good or bad, which is what you want.

Reliability : 5
Plugged it in and it worked. It was rubbish so I unplugged it again.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never had to deal with them

Overall Rating : 1
You get what you pay for. A TU-2 is twice the price and a Korg rack tuner about 4 times the price. The difference is that they work properly and the Behringer doesn't. A tuner is one of those things that just has to work - usually when you just don't have time to muck around.

The BTR2000 just doesn't cut it. If you want a tuner for stage use, you are going to have to spend more - sorry :-(
