I am a session/gigging guitarist and use a USA Tele,Strat Gibson Les Paul and 335, I run these thru a 1970s Twin Reverb. I needed another digital delay for a set we were performing and went to the music shop to pick one up, I looked to buy another Boss pedal but thought I would hook up a DD100 up for a laugh .I was so impressed by this baby that I asked the shop assistant to let me try out some other Behringer stomps and I walked out with another four behringer pedals from reverbs to phasers.I have read some bad reviews about the sound quality being distorted or noisy,I think that this is more to do with bad power supplies, bad connecting leads,or general lack of understanding of how to use effects, basically if someone owns a crappy guitar a crappy amp a crappy bunch of leads and has no clue of getting a decent sound therefore being very upset with life, this usually means bad unfair reviews of gear. There is NO difference in sound between this pedal and the Boss DD3 I own its basically a clone.I wish companies like behringer were around when I was first starting out.

Yes I can depend on it,why not.I have used these stomps alongside my Boss,Pearl,Dunlop pedals in a pedal board for nearly 2 years No probs at all.I never use batteries only first class power supplies. Why would anyone use batteries on a gig? Batteries = unreliable effects pedals.
The case the DD100 is made out of PLASTIC,my Bose 802s cases are made of PLASTIC,my EVS200 cases are made of PLASTIC!my Roland r8 is PLASTIC,the list could go on and on,unless you plan to throw any of the above items off a cliff, why worry.

I play many styles and have been in the recording business for 25 years,I could list what gear I own but thats not the point of this review,in my honest oppinion the Behringer range of guitar pedals are as good as any others, but I suggest you always try before you buy, I am not at all keen on some of there effects but I can say this about the other more expensive manufacturers. If it was stolen I would buy again and again. For the money that these pedals sell for we can afford to musically express ourselves.

Relatively simple interface. The first control is your volume - It sets the volume of the delay: from very soft to louder then the original note. The second control is feedback - Controlling the length of the delay. The 3rd control is the speed of the repeats and the last control is the type of delay. You will quickly get adjusted to using this pedal. If you have owned a Boss DD-3 delay then you will instantly become familiar with it's operation. I am giving it an 8 because it is hard to make a pedal much simpler to operate, given the amount of delay options available.

This is where the price of this pedal comes into consideration. I am a semi-professional studying musician and bought this pedal as a temporary stand in for gigs until i can afford the amazing yet very expensive Electro-Harmonix Memory Man. If you buy this pedal, don't expect a high quality delay unit. It is generally an entry-level delay. There's some minor noise problems with the pedal but it is still a very usable device. It can create all the delay sounds that the Boss DD-3 is cable of and it works just as it should. I have had quite alot of fun experimenting with the delays. Anyone buying this pedal for personal use at home won't be dissapointed. It can be alot of fun but do beware that the sound quality is not quite as good as a much more expensive and similiar unit like the Boss DD-3. For performing live then i would not recommend this pedal. Yes I am using it for a few gigs until i can afford my Memory Man but it isn't ideal for live performers...predominately for the reason that it's abit noisey and on top of that, the sound quality aint too hot. That said - this pedal is well worth the price and that's why i bought it. It's a delay, it works, it's cheap. Go for it!

I would rather think of this pedal as the backup to something better.

Easy to use--especially if you have played with any of the Boss units, manual is sparse, but the thing is pretty standard.

Seems to have the sounds I need for a real bargain of a price. Not too noisy in my setup.

Well, here's the thing. I have bought several of the Behringer pedals, and if they come to you in good shape, then they will probably last as long as you take care of them. I put them on my board and they are pretty safe. I got this one in the mail and the switch didn't work to turn it on and off with any consistency, which is bothersome to say the least. Called the seller and they are sending me another one at no cost--Music 123, so I recommend them highly. I have the flanger, the chorus, one of the distortion pedals, the tuner, and the a/b box. Flanger chirps like a robotic bird. The others are not bad at all. I had the compressor, but it arrived without two screws in it, and I didn't think it was the greatest, so I returned it for the tuner. I took apart the broken delay and it is a microswitch that's the culprit. Probably an easy fix. The only thing about the plastic boxes is that they have screws going directly into plastic--and they will strip easily. You can't expect to take them apart and put them together several times without somehow filling the holes with epoxy or something and retapping. At these prices, these pedals are a bargain, but realize that there are some cost cutting going on. It does sound pretty good, though. I will gig with this pedal and the others in a pedal box--and no batteries--use a transformer.

Never dealt with them, but the seller--Music 123 was great. I highly recommend them. I have had other Behringer products--v-amp pro and the midi pedal. They are good values. I made a rack case for the v-amp immediately and protect those fancy plastic led pots.

I am happy to get the versatility of this delay without shelling out huge bucks. I will post more info when I gig with it a few times.

Surprise! Surprise! Surprise! That's what Gomer Pyle said on TV and that's what I said about this Delay pedal! As a person who just has to have a delay pedal in the mix, I've been through many and all have their strengths and weaknesses. Admittedly, analog delays are my all time favorite. Just can't beat the warm, resonsive tone. But, if you want a different flavor of delay and more versatility; you eventually have to check out the digital offerings. Again, I've been through several including Multi-fx and single stomp box style.
The one previous pedal I've owned that this Behringer pedal reminds me of is the Boss DD3. That's right. It is very close in every aspect except for the materials the pedal is made of. The delays are, to my ear, the same as the Boss pedal.
I got the Behringer for $30 out the door. The Boss version will cost much more!

As mentioned, the construction of the pedal is questionable. It's made of plastic! The knobs aren't as 'firm feeling' when you turn them as the Boss pedal. But, if you promise not to stomp too hard or to fall on it; it will probably last a good while. My rating here and comments are based solely upon the plastic casing; not longevity. I've only had it a week! We'll see how long it lasts!

A very good, descent pedal capable of holding it's own against most other pedals with similar features.
