its very simple, easy to use, 4 typical loose behringer knobs just like the boss dd, but here we have divided the mono and stereo in both upper and lower sides of the mode knob. come on people its just a delay pedal feedback, time, mode, lvl, you dont need more for a stompbox.

Sound Quality : 9
i am using a vox ac 30. no noise at all in my chain, good clear sound, you can play gilmour if you want, and it can be one of the edge's 3 delays, thats why i also have a boss dd3, and i wanted another delay pedal to emulate the edge delays and i am surprisingly close.

Reliability : 8
well, this is the point were we all get and think, "hey, its a very cheap pedal, it does its job perfectly but behringer its not known as topline delay producers".. just forget about the brand on this delay pedal, you are paying around 20USD, and it sounds perfect thats what you need.
it is made of plastic, i've never ever trusted in plastic, but i stomp it the same as i stomp the metal cased bigmuff, and its doing great. if you buy a boss pedal, its the same, but you are buying a reliable future, this delay pedals are quite new, i dont know anyone who has them for more than 5 years. i bought it in march 2007, and 20 bucks for a year of perfect sounding, and working delay, its more than enough. i would us it on a gig without backup, no problem.

Customer Support : No Opinion
never dealt with it.

i play, some, pink floyd, srv, hendrix, u2, zep, psicodellic rock. i've been playing since 2000 almost everyday. i owe a srf volume booster, a rocktron hush pedal, big muff, deluxe electric mistress, ibanez ts9, boss bd2, marshall bluesbreaker 2, boss compression sustainer 3, boss dd3, dean markley pt13 tuner and a crybaby wah. if it was stolen to me i would buy it again of course. i love the perfect "no problem" sound, and i hate de plastic case. i compared it to a boss delay, of course it cant be compared as a brand, but it does its job the same. if it had a metal case, it would be just a perfect 10.

Ease of Use : 7
Pretty straightforward. I bought this pedal for the percussionist in my band to use. He's a bit of a technophobe, so it had to be simple. And it is - if you have any experience of delay pedals this will be easy for you. It's simple enough to pick up if you've no experience.

The LED constantly flashes when power is on rather than switching on/off to indicate status. That's annoying and pointless.

The manual could also be better, hence this is only a 7.

Sound Quality : 6
The pedal gets used through a PA, the persussion mic to the pedal to the PA.

On bypass it's fine - silent or very close to it. We had been using an old Zoom pedal - now that thing was unbearably noisy. In bypass this thing is good.

This pedal is a little noisy in operation, but I can live with it. A quiet hum, and when I've tried it through my guitar amp it's even less noticeable.

So far as the quality of sounds, it's OK. I A/Bd with my Line 6 Echo Park, and it doesn't live up to that in terms of quality, but we wanted something cheap and cheerful that could do a job and this definitely fits the bill.

It's not more than 6 for quality though. It's not as good as the more expensive pedals, and I am wary of anyone who suggests otherwise. It's certainly a useable pedal however.

Reliability : 6
Casing is plastic but seems solid enough. Not a major concern.

Again, it's OK, but doesn't compete with top end gear.

Customer Support : No Opinion

Overall Rating : 8
This pedal is very good for the money and does the job we want it to do. DON'T buy this pedal if you are very picky with tone. It is a little noisy but at the price this is to be expected.

I wouldn't swap this for my Echo Park, not a chance. If you can afford better and care about your tone, then you'll get value for the extra cash. Understand from the outset that it's a cheap pedal for a reason.

If you just want something cheap and simple that will do a job, this pedal is good for you. Otherwise, wait and spend more.

This pedal is extremely easy to use straight out of the pack. Contains four simple knobs: level-controls the volume of the delay compared to the original signal, feedback-length of the echo/delay, time-delay time & mode-choice between 200,500,1300ms max delay in either stereo or mono and a hold function.
the manual is completely useless, all it contains are labels for each knob but without any recommendations for sounds.
otherwise it was a very user friendly pedal to use

Sound Quality : 9
sounds great, especially for the low price, with better delay sounds than those from the digitech model. sounded exactly like i wanted it to do with clean transparent delays/echoes that were near enough to faultless.

the hold function was slightly weird as it had a maximum of 1sec which isnt enough to lay down a decent riff or line & then play over the top. the main function i found for it was to create some quirky psychedelic sounds & occasionally some trancey/electro repeats.

i managed to find a hidden tap tempo function whereby u hold down the pedal (provided the hold function isnt on) until the LED starts flashing & then tap the pedal at the desired tempo & it changed to that tempo. this was handy especially for changing delay times during a song without having to reach down and adjust it.

i generally play 60/70's blues/rock/psychedelic music in the styles of hendrix/clapton/kossoff etc & was able to achive most of those sounds. my most favourite of these was a reasonably short delay with a touch of echo for soloing where the delay starts to cascade over what your playing in a rich way, very expressive & very cool.

there was no hum or buzz associated with the pedal & it sounded flawless when working.

my current rig is as follows:
epiphone 335 ==> behringer hellbabe wah ==> behringer DD100 delay ==> Orange Crush 30R amp

Reliability : 2
This is where the pedal let itself down. From the first day i had it things where going wrong. Once on you couldn't turn it off & other times it would be off & couldnt turn on. after relacing the pedal with a new 1 the replacement started to do the same thing so eventually i returned it & got my money back.

the main reason i wanted to write this review was because of the great highs & lows it can provide. it sounded amazing all the time (bar the hold function) & in this great sound lies the problem, it didnt work more often than not. i say to you all if you can find a good 'n proper working model of these grab on with both hands & dont let go (they sound AMAZING!!) but also be weary for duds, there are plenty around.

to wrap it up-great sounding pedal, awesome delays, but ultimately didnt work. It wasnt junk but its not quite a boss in terms of quality construction

Pretty straightforward to use: level, feedback, time, and 6 different modes. The thing comes with a manual but i bought the one from the display rack and it came without it.

Sound Quality : 9
Sound quality is good. Of course you cant compare it with top range delays but it does the job, much more than sufficiently as far as i am concerned. Of course if you are looking for the supernice sound you wont go for a 25 euro stompbox, will you? But I compared it to a Boss DD3 and the sound quality was not much at all.
Not noisy in my setup.

Reliability : 9
I think it is quite reliable, it IS in fact made of plastic (hey Beheringer obviously had to cut costs somewhere) but it looks quite resistant to me, and has a 2 year warrant. I dont think you need a backup for gigs.

Customer Support : No Opinion
No idea, havent had any problems. All I know is I have a 2year warrant, which is good.

Overall Rating : 9
I play both indie rock and ambient/elctronica (a name i could name could be the late Radiohead maybe), I am not a huge fan of stompboxes, I own a Dunlop Crybaby, a Proco Rat, a Boss RV3, a Boss RC20XL.
I guess this pedal does what you would expect from a cheap delay. Not noisy, good sound, doesnt have some fancy functions (eg the Ibanez has the reverse function, which I dont care about). Works fine for me.
It FEELS cheap in fact, like the knobs and the clicking when you stomp on it let on the bargain quality of the pedal, but hey it does the job well.

I got this pedal from e-bay, I wasn't expecting much when I got it I was surprissed. It was farely easy to use although it operates different that most pedals. On most Boss pedals to turn the unit On or Off you have to just push the pedal and it turns on or off. On this one is different you have to push the pedal and let it go. It doesn't engage when you want it. Another thing is that it doesn't work that good with batteries specially the cheap ones, but everybody knows that delay pedals go through batteries really fast. This is because of the processor inside and the demand of power. This wasn't a problem for me because I use a powered pedalboard. Another thing is that it is tricky at first to install the battery which is located under the pedal. No don't unscrew the bottom plate. The compartment is in the same place boss pedal place the battery.

Sound Quality : 8
I was surprised about how easy it is to get the sound I wanted. I didn't want the long delays, they're useless in my opinion. I like the delay setting arround 400ms which is a decent amount of delay. I had trouble at first on learning how to use it with the tempo on a song but after that everything is great. The hold function to me is useless. Over all is clear pedal is not noisy it doesn't suck tone. the Input impedance is high which means the higher it is the clearer it will sound when bypassed. I haven't tried the boss dd3 which is going for a ridiculous price on e-bay. But this one is pretty good also. If you are planning to get a delay pedal but don't want to spend 100 dollars or more on it try $20 dollars. For me this was ok.

Reliability : 7
I Like it better than those Cheap danelectro pedals which cost more. Yes you heard me, the plastic ones. It is more sturdier I think it will hold its own in a gig and then some. It is like a Boss but in plastic but don't let that fool you, the plastic pretty strong. I would deffinetely use it in a gig no questions. I mean I take care of my stuff I don't go and jump arround on them. I would put a 7 for reliability because its plastic and thats about it.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Nope

I play Rock and soloing stuff you know I am no Joe Satriani or anything but I like to fool around with the guitar in my spare time. I have been playing for SIX years now and going strong. I use a fender Fat Standard and a Yamaha Pacifica. and a fender Deluxe amp. If it were stolen I may buy it again. What I like of this pedal is that it was cheap and that it gave me more flexibility than other pedals costing 4 times more. This pedal doesn't compare to the boss ones but It doesn't have to. I wish that this pedal turned on like the Boss pedals push means ON. not push and let go mean ON. It basically gaved me more ideas to work with.

This is my pedal chain. Fender Fat Strat ------ MetalZone-- Ts808clone--OctaveClone--Dodfx20cPhaser---DD100 Delay---Fender Deluxe.

Very easy to use - if it was usable- this is by far the worst pedal I have ever had - I found a pedal in the trash once that was better than this - it is easy to figure if you have ever used a pedal before - but this was just junk. Crapped out continually -I lent it to a friend to try - same opinion. Ate batteries and never worked right on an AC adapter. It is really cheap and has a battery access like the Digidesign pedals - which is not really a good system in my opinion. Please publish this review -everyone I know who buys gear consults this site - it is the new method of actually checking out gear and I think it is important for folks to stay away from this product.

Sound Quality : 1
You would have to be extremely creative to find a musical use for the sounds coming from this pedal. Sound quality goes from farting to unusable. It was actually so bad I had to take it out of my chain. These are seriously cheap pedals. Itried everything - different cables, all alone, in a chain - this pedal is dog awful - showed some potential in one setting, but then would not shut off via pedal.

Reliability : No Opinion
I could not even use it at home - let alone at a show.

I play a wide variety - rock, jazz, country, folk, hillbilly and essentially anything that has ever been mixed out of those categories. (No polka, no flamenco). I have played over 20 years and generally have good gear; sometimes nothing fancy - but it works. I am so disappointed with this pedal - I am advising everyone to consider whether or not you want to waste your cash or actually spend more on quality and get something you can use.

Standard out-of-the-bubble-pack stomp box. Straightforward and easy to use... except for the "hold" settting. Takes a bit of figuring out, but it makes sense once you have the hang of it. Manual is brief (particularly about the "hold" setting), but quite usable.

Sound Quality : 10
Sound is exactly what you would expect. Clean, uncoloured delay. Some frineds have said they thought it was too clinical, but I prefer that.

Using it with an Aerodyne strat and Marshall JCM600. No detectable noise. Always sounds good to my ear.

Reliability : 10
Although it seems like cheap plastic construction... I'm a big guy and I don't baby my gear and it is working fine. I would not hesitate to use it live.

I play bits and pieces of many genres. It works as you would expect and I have no complaints. It definitely helps make music (I practise more now that I have it), and at the price, it is a FANTASTIC deal.

I am doing a review because I want to help you not waster your time with this unit! It was difficult to get the unit to work as I found it "hopped" in delay settings on the farthest right control.

I found the sound quality weak. It is good only if you need a long delay. Shorter delays were almost impossible to dial in.

I would recommend you not waste your time purchasing this pedal. It's only good setting was the long delay. For everything else it just couldn't be used. I used it for 1 night and returned it the next day.

Ease of Use : 9
Typical 1.3 second max digital delay pedal. The Level is really sensitive and if you crank it all the way up, you only hear the delayed signal and not your original signal anymore. Typical loose Behringer knobs. Still, it feels slightly more solid than an Arion, which is it's next cheapest competitor. Plus, Arion pedals can be so expensive. And for what? They're plastic! At least Behringer isn't trying to front.

Sound Quality : 9
I ordered this pedal online and I had a gig the night it came so there wasn't any time to try it out first. Luckily it passed with flying colors. Great delay sounds. I spend half my time trying to sound like David Gilmour and the other half sounding like rockabilly and this pedal does both excellently. Before this pedal I had been using a Digitech Digidelay and although I loved that pedal, I couldn't justify the expense of keeping it. For what it cost, I could get 4 Behringer pedals (which I did). Plus there was NEVER going to be a time when I needed 4 seconds of delay so the Digitech had to go. For the price, the Behringer is great. And if it breaks I'll just get another one. That's the beauty of these pedals. You gotta think of them like strings. You don't have strings forever, you know?

Reliability : 9
We'll see. Like I said, I just got it. Check the date of my review and if it breaks I'll leave an update. Hopefully you won't be hearing from me again.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I wouldn't even bother. If it breaks buy a new one.

Overall Rating : 9
I play in a classic rock bar band and I need to sound like a lot of different people in one night. This pedal helps get the Pink Floyd across beautifully. I also bought the Behringer Tremolo pedal and although it is nowhere near as good as this pedal, it was cheap so I don't feel bad about not loving it. I can't wait for the Digital Reverb and MultiFX pedals to come out. I'd say give it a try. But DO NOT pay more than $24.99 for it. If you do, the seller is ripping you off.
