The pedal is pretty simple to use. The manual is brief but informative. If you can use a Boss delay you can use this. The hold function is useless, but the tap tempo is great.

The sound quality is fine. It's a basic digital delay. If you are looking for something fancier then this is not the pedal for you. If you play something the pedal repeats it. It's as simple as that.

I've used it at gigs with no problems. The pedal is very battery hungry though, so an adapter is a major benefit. The pedal is made of plastic, but you would have to stamp with brutal force to break it.

Overall i am very happy with this pedal. It is good value for money and does exactly what it claims. If it was stolen i would probably buy a Behringer echo machine because that particular pedal has more features. If you are looking for a cheap digital delay then this pedal should suffice.

Really quite simple, although it does have an annoying feature on the mix/blend knob between the wet and dry signl where anything past half way starts to cut out your dry signal, so you end up not with a delay, but a staggered normal signal that repeats.

It does nice repeats of your sound and is quite versatile. It's also quite clincal sounding, rather cold sounding, and hisses quite a bit. Get a better delay for a bit more money and you'll get a better return for your money.

Solid(ish) but plastic, so I suspect these will go the way all cheap pedals and have bits falling off within a couple of years. Use it from an adaptor or it'll cost you a small fortune in batteries, and an adaptor reduces the hiss.

It's a decent enough delay, but it's nothing special. It's not amazing sounding, but it does the job. Like i said above, spend 10 quid or more extra, get something better and you'll be happier in the end.

It's a pretty straight forward pedal. Level -controls the volume level...duh. Feedback - the amount of repeats, from one to infinite (very cool feature) Time - the mS rate and the last knob selects between long and short delays. There is also a Hold feature that, while cool, isn't done very well on this pedal. The same feature on the Boss dd5 and 6 works much better.
It's made of heavy plastic, but it seems pretty sturdy. I don't make a habit of really jumping on my gear, so I don't think it's at risk for breaking.
The manual sucks. It's a half sheet of paper that just tells you what is already written on the face of the pedal. But hey, we're talking about Behringer here, so my expectations weren't too high to begin with.
The input and output jacks are crap. They are a bit recessed into the enclosure (this may just be on my unit, it looks like it might have been unintentional), so not all instrument cables will stay put. But if you are using 90 degree connectors you shouldn't have a problem.

For $35 it sounds incredible. If I paid over $100 for it I'd be pissed. The delays sound clear and crisp and the feedback adjust is pretty on point. I think a big drawback it there is a slight hiss when the pedal is engaged.
There is a bit of a 'click' when you hit the pedal in hold mode that then repeats and sounds like garbage. So, hold mode is useless really. But the other delay settings are very usable and sounds great.

can you depend on it? Well.....yes....and a resounding no. It seems to be sturdy enough to gig with. but it also sits right on that line of "" think this think is gonna break if I breathe on it too hard"
I had the the opened up to get a good look at the PCB. The switch is connected directly to the circuit board and is actuated by a long sharp piece of plastic that, if stomped on too hard, could very well crack the circuit. So basically, if you are really hard on your gear, this might not be the one for you.
BUT, It's also a pretty sweet sounding pedal for the low price tag. I take pretty good care of my stuff and I can easily see this pedal still on my board and operating fine years from now.

Overall, of you only have $25 to $35 and really want to start using delay then YES! Go buy it! For the price it's a great pedal. But I am a believer in the old saying 'you get what you pay for' and that is especially true with effects. However, i am dirt poor and don't have the $250 to drop on a Memory man or a DD7. Do for now I am perfectly content making cool noise with my DD400.
If it got lost or stolen then yes, i would buy another. Maybe not right away though. It it broke then there is now way I would buy it again, I've only had it for two months!
OH YEAH!! this thing DESTROYS batteries!!! Get a power adapter. I stuck a new battery in and less than two hours later it was dead. That sucks....and in retrospect drops the overall rating from an 8 to a 7.

I bought this while on the road. Ny Boss DD went down and I needed a backup bad. this was the only one the store in podunk had. I can tell no diffrence in sound quality, except when it is used with a battery, or an off brand power supply. Get the Behringer power supply! It is noisy ( kind of a hissssss) without it.

Had it for aprox 6 weeks, and have danced on it, spilled beer on it, and sweat on it and it is still going. As for a backup this is the back up, as soon as the boss get fixed i'll put it back in the line up, as it just looks like it can take more abuse.

I play a blend of classic rock, and todays stuf. I've also been know to do some blues and southern rock. Been playin for 30+ years. too much gar to list. I think I would buy it again, but it is a hastle to have to have the behringer power supply, this might slow me down.
It does the job, like a good pedal should. I think the reason people down it is cause it ddon't say "boss" on it. Get the f-in power supply if it is noisy.

I've only tried this through my bedroom amp so far but it seems to do everything a digital delay should do. I used to own a Boss DD3 but it got stolen, and i can find no practical difference between these two pedals. Take into account that the Boss cost me something like ??90 and this cost less than ??20. Everyone should have one of these!

People complain about the plastic build, but offer no examples of them malfunctioning. I have 6 behringer pedals now and they have never let me down. Only an idiot actually "stomps" on a stomp box.

This is pedal is easy to use 4 knobs just play around with them until tou get the write sound the knob on the right hand sound changes the mode basically giving a different delay effect at the turning of the knob
one fiddle bit can be changing the battery if your new 2 the behringer sort of pedal so just use the instructions or better get a 9v adaptor if u a do run out of battery ther is an LED light that comes on when the pedal is switched on and goes out when theres no power.
im only giving it a nine because u do need to hav a play with it to get it write.

the effect of the delay (echo) is very good on this pedal and doesnt kill tone or differ the sound i only use this for solos or slow section of a song but on different setting like m200 on the mode knob s 200 it gives a very good hall effect sound or even a sound like elvis presley i think that the sound is great i got this of ebay for about ??18 and for that its amazing and shud compete with big name brands like boss

i am into alsorts of music mostly indie rock but i play reggae sometimes i also play stuff like muse and sum 80s rock , er punk sum emo sort of stuff but mostly indie rock like the kooks or the view that sort of style. this ped is fine for anything were you think you need that extra wow factor or something that sounds a lil different whatever realy
i hav bin playin for about 3 years so im not the ultimate guitarist or musucian but i have bin playin other instuments since i was about 8 and i do gcse music no bigy like but i do no wat sounds good and the write tone or if ther was a loss of tone as sum peds do
this definetly makes me want to write more and play more its fun at the end of the day and definetly at this time were i do need to write more songs for my course it definetly helps
it needs an actual on and of switch not just the input jack as one
it goes well with other peds aswell no excess noise
