Ease of Use
:
9
Four Knobs: Level, feedback, Time, and Mode. You can choose between 7 modes: 200ms,500ms, 1300ms in mono or the same in stereo plus a 1 second
"Hold" function which allows you to make a short loop.
one page manual with very few informations.
This model is the more recent version of the DD100
Provided you have a minimum knowledge about delay, very easy to use.
Sound Quality
:
10
It's a digital delay, meaning you get an exact reproduction of the sound, plus I find it completely transparent.
I use it in the FX loop of my JCM900 with either an ibanez RG270 or a gibson SG with either a boss MT-2, or a behringer TO800 or a boss DS-1 in front, and it works like a charm.I bought this unit to finally enter the 21st century and add that subtle delay to get that wide, professional, modern sound.
I have tried a boss DD-3 which has a few more features but for just a delay I couldn't make the difference.
Reliability
:
7
I've been using it for only two months now but the plastic seems to be resisatnt enough, however as on all beheringer pedal the switch is subtle so you have to be careful if you jump around on stage.
I would use it without a backup since it hasn't failed me so far.
Customer Support
:
No Opinion
never had a problem with it so I don't know about the customer support.
Overall Rating
:
10
I bought this thing for 17euros(23dollars)new and I would recommand trying it before buying the "original" DD-3 which is ten times more expensive.
Amazing value for the money.
