Ease of Use : 4
manual is poor, just a small piece of paper, not complicated to use, it is just difficult to line the delay control th the correct place as there is no click or stop to know when lined up, easy to accidently knock off the setting.

Sound Quality : 1
The sound quality of the actual delay is the same as my boss dd3 and the only reason I bought this pedal was for the tap tempo. However the pedal hisses and is noisy. I have tried it with a battery and different power supplies but it makes no difference. It is totally unusable because of this hissing and spluttering. This is a great shame as the quality of the delay is quite good

Reliability : 2
Made out of plastic but looks quite sturdy. It will last me forever because I can't use it

Rock and blues, been playing for 40 years. I offered a bandmate ??20 to streal it but he just laughed at me. I only wanted this for a dotted eigth delay on one song so bought a cheap pedal. Should not have done.

This is very easy to use - Pretty standard controls, Level, Feedback, Delay time and Mode select. Changing modes is faily simple but the modes don't have the same notches that a Boss pedal or digitech would have - if you know what i mean. as long as you line it up properly with the stated mode its not that hard.
Manual explains how to use it but is very limited

Sound Quality : 8
This is a clone of the Boss DD5 with all the same features. The delays sound very clear.
Im using a Strat->Fuzz Factory->Digitech EX-7->Line 6 Liqua Flange->Digitech delay->Boss PS-5->Behringer DD600-> Hiwatt 100w Solid state amp

There is no noticeable tone loss or tone suck but i do have to turn the level up more than i do with my digitech delay.
I can get very good digital delays, reverse and the hold function is great for sound effects and Bloc Party stuff

For the price I paid it is a great unit - Fraction of the price You'd pay for a Boss delay

Reliability : 9
It is made with pretty strong plastic. These are much sturdier than people think, Watch this:

This is a useful unit and if it broke I'd probably buy another mainly because they're so cheap!

Been playing for bout 10 years with lots of different pedals, particularly delays and I have to say this exceeded my expectations and for the price you really can't go wrong.
It would be nice if the mode knob had notches or was staggered ( with my digitech delay It has 7 functions and I can feel the resistance when I turn it round)
I think you can never have too many delays in a pedal board and this worked well wherever i put it in my chain.
I'd reccomend this to people new to effects of with little $$???? as it does a great job

In all fairness to Behringer, I did finally get a response from them offering to replace my pedal under warranty. It took longer than I feel it should have but they did do the right thing.

Easy to use, gives up to 2 seconds of delay with reverse and hold [record/play back function] as well.

Sound Quality : 1
What can I say, here is the problem. The delays sound great but...there is a huge loss of signal when it is in the effects chain. I run mine through the amps effects loop. If this pedal is in the chair about half your signal [volume] dissappears, it doesn't matter if it is on or off. Just plugging it in is the problem!!

And this is a brand new pedal, straight out of the box!

Reliability : 1
See above. If it didn't work right when it was brand new, what can you expect down the road? Can you say "quality control"?

The truth is it never worked right even once but that is what the lowest rating says.

Forget it. i have called them, emailed them receipts and proof of purchase. I have heard nothing from them. Even after talking to them on the phone.

Yes they are very friendly, so what? If they don't take care of the problem it means nothing. They have promised several times to send me an email regarding repair or replacement, nothing.

So much for a meaningful warranty.

Overall Rating : 1
Forget it, forget Behringer. Spend a little more money on something you can rely on.
