I got this pedal without a manual, and figured everything out in minutes. Some modes make it very easy to get a good sound. Others take a little tweaking. But the controls are laid out in a logical way. So if you've ever used a digital reverb before, it's easy.

I'm using this with a variety of guitars and amps (single coils, humbuckers, tube amps, and solid state). So far, I've gotten good results with everything. I tried it between my drum machine and a mixer. The Gated mode gave me something similar to an 80's Phil Collins effect. Too bad I don't like Phil Collins...
On guitar, most of settings sounded great in small doses. It's easy to go overboard. The level knob can give you way too much. But at 12:00 or less, the Room and Hall modes sounded fairly natural and spacious. The Modulation mode adds a chorus-y swirl that (again) sounds nice at low levels. The Plate mode is probably my least favorite. It has sort of a 60's studio vibe, but sounds a little too processed at any level.
The Spring setting took some tweaking to sound good. It captures a lot of the "boing" and "drip" of a real spring tank, but lacks something. Maybe the way it fades out isn't exactly right. But with the level, tone and time around 10:00. I got a nice ambience that wasn't overpowering. With everything turned up I got a decent Surf sound (but definitely not good enough to fool Dick Dale).

Okay. It's plastic, and the knobs feel flimsy. But I have plastic Danelectro pedals that have held up to years of use, so who knows?
I probably won't gig with it, because my POD XT Live has excellent reverbs, and is built like a tank. But for home recording and experimenting, this is great.

I play everything from metal to techno to western swing. I think this pedal will fit just about every genre. I've been playing for 20-something years, and this pedal sounds as good as a lot of stuff I've used (Alesis and Digitech rackmount reverbs from the 80's and 90's). It's amazing how the cheapest pedals have caught up to what used to be expensive rackmount gear.
The main reason I got it was the price. For $15.99, how could I pass it up? If it's lost or stolen, I have other reverbs I can use. But if I find another one at a good price, I'm grabbing it.

For the price, this is a steal - The only thing I can say is wrong is - The battery compartment is hard to access - Otherwise, it's easy to dial up a great sound - zero noise

I've used this in an electric guitar pedalboard, and in the EFX loop of a little behringer mixer - My favorite use for this is... for My acoustic solo or duo gigs, vocals & guitar, in my "Briefcase P.A." - I've put together a great-sounding, CHEAP system for gigs, that sets up in 5 minutes, can play inside or out - I've got a $40 Behringer Mixer, 2 $50 Kustom 10" wedge monitors (Awesome), and a used Alesis RA-100 power amp (light, just enough power, no fan noise, CHEAP @ $65 Ebay) - and this little Reverb pedal - I get compliments on the sound every gig, this stuff sounds exceptional - I play a $3000 guitar thru this, and I'm not sacrificing a thing.

For $45 Australian (should be 30 dollars given the exchange rate) it sounds fine. Reasonably quiet, doesn't suck tone. Pretty amazing for the price. I swapped this for a DD600, which was very noisy, even in bypass, like it was picking up computer data - unusable live or for recording so be careful if you intend buying one. But the DR100 is much better - a bit of noise, but it's fine. I was pleasantly suprised.

Honestly, I couldn't believe that a Behringer pedal was getting this good of reviews on here. However, for the money, how could I go wrong by trying? It is great as a subtle effect. At first, that's all I thought. However, I do a lot of extreme reverb stuff and I doubled it with another reverb pedal and the thing holds up at extreme settings as well. Good quality. Doesn't fizzle. Very natural sounding for the price. Nice slap-back reverb. The room reverb isn't bad either. It lives up to the reviews it's getting on here.

I use this in the effects loop of my Mesa Dual Rectifier Solo head. It replaces a $300 rack reverb.
It is clean and quiet and despite using it in a loop configured in SERIES, not Parallel (meaning the entire preamp signal runs through it), the tone is not adversely affected. Still sounds like the same tube amp.
I've been using the spring setting, although I'm not a big spring reverb fan (and I have a few vintage Fender tube amps, like a '67 Deluxe Reverb, a '65 Princeton Reverb and others). The modulation program is decent.
Absolutely NO NOISE when used with the right AC adaptor. That means use a REGULATED adaptor NOT an unregulated one. I have regulated adaptors from Danelectro, Boss, Korg and others including Radio Shack and no hum from any of these.
No hiss from this pedal either.
If you are getting noise, you don't know your equipment. Don't blame Behringer for your lack of knowledge and/or experience.

I've dealt with Behringer when repairing their equipment. I'm not an authorized tech for Behringer so sending non-warranty repairs back to them was a bit pricey, but I had no trouble getting parts from them, as long as the parts were sent to a Behringer dealer for me to pick up. Very easy company to deal with, as opposed to Loud Technologies, who own Mackie, Tapco, Crate, Ampeg etc. Getting tech support from them is a bit worse than impossible. When customer support for Behringer is superior to customer support for Mackie, something is very wrong.

I use the Mesa for classic and hard rock. I've been playing for over 40 years, and build, repair and modify amps, guitars and effects. I can't build equipment for the price of Behringer.
FWIW, my Behringer Vampire Dual Rectifier programs stack up pretty well side by side with the real deal.

Use it via Marshall Amp, V-Amp 2, Crate stack. I like this better than the V-amp reverb (made by behringer as well) and it is pretty good even compared to the digitech and boss ones. It is definitely worth the price. The room and spring reverb settings are my favorite.

I use this with rock, metal, and blues. It sounds good for just about any genre i'd think. But I really enjoy just a slight reverb added to the really heavy brutal metal... (Level 7 1/2 oclock. Tone 1 oclock. Time 8 oclock. Mode 6 oclock (Room).) Great price

I play a Peavey 6505+, a monster of an amp, but it has no reverb. This little petal is a great addition what I'm not playing through my rack effects. My entire review ought to be read in the context of it only costing $30. And so, with all of it's bad-points, it's well worth the money, and suits me for playing at home just fine.
Setting it is easy. Select your desired Mode, Tone, and Time (duration), and then Level. In that regard, it gets a 10. But changing the battery, however, is a pain in the ass and reveals how chinsey the thing is construction-wise. No doubt, breaking the pedal cover hinge will likely happen eventually. I'll still be glad to own it, as I never 'stomp' the pedal on and off anyway. I'll just have to set it on the amp with the battery sticking out.
Sound Quality

I run it through the effects loop of my Peavey 6505+. I use in on a very mild setting, and it's great for that. It's not noisy at all, and doesn't color my tone, as others have reported. One HUGE criticism I have is regarding the battery light. When the battery is low, it blinks and causes a very disturbing thud sound through the amp. As a pedal providing a simple, mild reverb, This pedal gets a 10 sound-wise. For anything else, it's rating drops considerably.

This is an easy to use pedal. I play bass in surf music and I don't like to spend a lot of time messing with effects, but even I can figure this one out. The Spring setting lacks the extreme "boing" of a real analog spring unit, but most people don't like that aspect of the spring units anyway.
Turning the selector knob makes it easy to change the effect (Mode) and compare. It's a snap. Once you get the level set, then the Time and Mode settings are about all you need to mess with. for bass, I just set the Tone all the way counterclockwise and forget about it.

I use this on bass. I did a long test of a Boss RV-5 and wasn't impressed. Maybe the small speaker I used to test through didn't do it justice, but there just wasn't $150 worth of reverb there to my ears.
I heard about the Behringer and bought one for $25 figuring it was worth the experiment. I like the sound BETTER than the Boss, and it's certainly a better value for me.
Tthere is NO noise in this unit, and I've run it from two or three different AC adapters. I absolutely cannot hhear any change in sound from putting it in the sound path. It seems to be completely suitable for guitar or bass (and other instruments), as it does not color the sound that I can hear.
I've never even opened the battery compartment and don't plan to, as I use a 4-pedal board and there's no point in messing with batteries.
I normally use the Spring setting, and the result is a very pleasing increase in the depth and richness of my sound when we're playing surf stuff. Let's face it - if you're playing surf, you must have reverb!

I'm not an equipment abuser - I don't stomp pedals hard, and as a result mine last nicely. My DR100 is sitting next to a Behringer BDI-21 direct interface which I've been using for a year with no problems. I see no reason that these pedals won't last for a long, long time as long as they are treated with the normal care that any good equipment should get. I use both pedals on gigs without backup and have no hesitation in doing so.

Compared to the Boss RV-5, this pedal has identical controls and offers at least as much performance - to my ears, more. But it costs $125 less for delivering the same performance. I think it's a real keeper. I'd replace it in a heartbeat. I played orchestral and electric bass in the 60's and 70's, and returned to it in the late 90's, so I have 20 years' experience with this stuff.

very easy to use, just adjust the mix ,time and hall, room or plate, and play. Don,t overdo the effects level because this thing will go deep, really too deep for most uses. The manual is simple only one page and you really don't need it. I forgot to mention you can adjust the reverb time but it is not a very long reverb time at max, a little more than the alesis picoverb, but not over about 3-4 seconds max, but plently long enough for recording vocals in stereo if you need it.

I really was surprised by this unit because it sounds very good for a unit in this price range. I hooked it up stereo in my studio and it really sounded excellent. The reverb tails are smooth and lush sounding. This unit compares to the picoverb because of the smooth reverb tails and rt without much tweaking. It is also fairly well made although the case is plastic it feels sturdy. The best reverb to my ears is the plate setting, I think it has 2 plates, the select button has no detents but you can hear a click when you change settings also it may have 2 halls because of the clicks, you can check it out. The spring setting ,is nothing to brag about or the rooms, which I hardly like any rooms on most reverb units I have but someone may find a use for them, also I don't care much for the modulate setting but it's not too bad. BTW this unit has no hiss hardly at all I hooked it up to my amp and turned the amp high and the effects on the unit up and was amazed how quiet this thing was, one reviewer said it was unusuable for recording I dissagree with him,if hooked up stereo it sounds great for vocals or for anything. It probably won't sound as impressive as the boss rv5 because the rt will not go over about 3-4 seconds as the boss will do longer rt also it cost 100.00 more, the boss rv2 I had would go 10 seconds, but you really don't need long rt for normal use, even the emt plate won't go over about 5 seconds rt and many many hit songs have been made using the old emt. I doubt anyone would notice much difference in reverb quality with this unit and any other budget unit or even medium to high-end units. This unit also sounds good in an amp with a guitar or keyboard, not noisy this way either.I recommend getting the power supply because this thing will eat batteries quick,I bought the the PSU-SB power supply and it works great, no hum, noise or anything. You have to hook both inputs and outputs for stereo because the manual doesen't say anything about 1 input being normaled to both outputs. Set it right and for a 30.00 reverb unit you can't go wrong. I'm only giving it a 9 because it doesn't have long rt so it won't be as impressive as some other units because of this. Overall I really liked the plate setting best of all.

Would use it without a backup if I had to. I haven't had it very long but it seems to be pretty sturdy,I believe if you take care of your products it will last a long time, altho I wouldn't recommend in stomping it but a reasonable push with your foot won't hurt it.I looked in the battery compartment and the on-off switch is built on the pc board but the top of the pedal that you turn it on with has a long soft rubber leg built on it that pushes the on-off switch so it will not put too much force on the pc board, sort of like a shock absorber, pretty clerverly made. I really haven't had it long enough to give an opinion but I believe it will be reliable.

I like this pedal especially for the price, if it had a longer rt it would be much more impressive but it still sounds very good altho the only reverb I like best is the plate, however the hall is pretty good too. This unit is a clone of the boss rv5 but the boss is probably the better pedal, it should be because it cost 100.00 more but it doesen't come with a power supply either. The boss doesen't sound 100.00 better but it may sound some better because of the longer reverb times. I play gospel, country, bluegrass, blues etc. Been playing over 40 years.

The sound of this is horrible, flat and short, no matter what setting! It's almost like having no reverb on the signal at all, even when on Hall with full decay.Weak, weak, weak...and I had it at the end of my effects chain

It broke after about 2 hours, which may in some respect be my fault as I was using it in an unconventional fashion (feeding the signal back through itself via an aux send on my mixer.
It made a sound comparable to an old television being turned off and that was that. If I leave it for a while or disconnect the battery it works for about 20 minutes then turns off.
Also it should be noted that the LED never goes off and the batteries waste very quickly.
Just last week before a gig I finally threw this piece of sh*t in the bin (it had been sitting unused in my room for some months, as i was thinking of circuit bending it, but it's not even reliable enough for that).
The plastic body isn't going to last long, especially if you intend on actually stomping on it.

I didn't even bother trying to bring it back as I
a) didn't want it replaced with another one and
b) it was so cheap that store credit wouldn't have bought me much, especially not a reverb effect!

I make electronic music and put a guitar through a lot of effects and loop samplers. I reckoned that this might have has some use, even though I knew it was going to suck the big one.
If you want a reverb unit go for the Boss pedal or the Alesis Picoverb, the latter of which doesn't cost that much and is apparently pretty good.
This is my first review here, and I just want to dissuade anyone thinking of buying this for any reason from doing so, as it is without a doubt the worst bit of music gear I have ever had the misfortune of buying.
