this delay pedal is cheap, got a lemon. made of cheap plastic, not metal. the pedal has a life of it's own. when you press on the pedal it turns on, then turns off after a few seconds. then, back on. plus, it gives a popping/clicking sound... can't use it at all to practice, and defintely won't use it to gig.

If you have used BOSS pedals, then this pedal should be no problem to use.
All the control knobs, and ins and outs are obvious in their function.

I use a Fulltone Fulldrive 2 Mosfet pedal and this Behringer DR400 as my delay pedal. I have Fender Deluxe reverb Amp, and a Strat and Tele mainly.
I bought the DR400 to replace the delay function of a favorite old BOSS ME5 effects unit that finally got too unreliable from years of abuse. To be honest, the Behringer DR400 sounds much better than that old unit, and is comparable to a much more expensive BOSS delay at a fraction of the price. The delays are full in tone, the reverb is deep., and I can get all the delay/ reverb effects I need.
I don't think it is much noisier than other pedals, butt I use single coil pickups, so I don't mind a bit of noise.

My friend uses a couple of Behringer pedals in his rack, and he gigs regularly with no reliabilty issues from the pedals. I will use mine with no backup I expect, as I treat my gear gently.

I play old school rock, rockabilly, country, blues and have done so since 1971. I use minimal gear..just a Strat and Tele and occasional Gibson, a Fender Deluxe Reverb or Laney VC30 amp depending on the tones I need (Fender big bright and clear..for rockabilly and country rock, and the Laney.. warm and smooth for blues and old rock)
I wanted a quick fix for my delay footpedal duties and I couldn't resist the value for money of the Behringer DR400. So far so good.
