Well done, clear and logic, but poor display makes the manual always needed, which I find quite boring. See, as the unit is so flexable, parameters change all the time depending of which algorithm you use(there are 24...) so good luck figuring out what is what...
Editing very easy, but always referring to the manual is a real pain in the...well you guess where
ADA is 24bit, crisp and clear, no loss nor background noise(provided you don't fool with crap cables and instruments).
No input or output level capabilities, what did they think at b.? I doubt they ever thought on this one.
5, coz of manual, and I am nice

Sound Quality : 10
I use this with preamps or distortion right to the board, or for listening music on headphones. I don't use it with an amp.
It sounds fantastic once you program it accordingly. I use the denoiser a lot, to clean up noisy preamps and it excells to that, Hush can go hide under the carpet. Just remember you have extra 2bd eq everywhere, and that is waaay smart!
The speaker simulator is incredible, I use my Hughes'n'kettner tube factor(dist pedal only) and with the modulizer I can go straight to the p-a with results far superior than a dedicated machine( a Hughes'n'kettner tubeman for that matter)!
Just for the record I also own a sansamp gt-2 which makes all of the above useless and ridiculous, Mr Bartha rules...
I don't use effects, only a bit of reverb and this modulizer provides it(patch 26, wood hall) so it's a pleasure just to use a sansamp in front of it, I don't need anything else in the world(eh, maybe a headphone...).
Speaking of which I like the unit to listen to music with. For classical recordings I use the wide algorithm for increased spaciousness and clarity, for rock I use the ultrabass for real-life punch(it is a subtle effect, no loudness or so), and with vocal music I use the limiter to compact things a bit(you know, when singer whispers all the time then suddenly sings full blast... think arvo part compositions) so I can relax...
You have a lot of useful things in this unit, I can't part with mine.
So it is a ten here, especially with the price in mind

Reliability : 10
Four years always on(almost, almost...) and no problem. Only issue is that its transformer vibrates a bit so it's annoying when listening soft music on the cans, but I fixed that with insulating foam inside. Before you do that please mail me.
So it is reliable. I use the limiter with bass guitar straight to the board and I must tell this unit helps a lot to make my loudspeakers reliable too!

Big joke they absolutely suck.

Overall Rating : 10
I want it to have a real display, digital i/o, knobs for input/output levels, and a dedicated headphone amplifier with volume.
Maybe next century because NOBODY does that. It's a pity coz it would make a lot of sense and would cost maybe ten dollars more...
It helps make and listen to music but also gets in the way because of the obligation to refer to the manual all the time.
I think it's great, I like it much.
I hope that every reader buy a good pair of headphones(think akg k240df, k271studio or k501, or sennheiser hd 590 or 600) because tone starts there isn't it?

This thing is kind of confusing to figure out. You actually have to read the manual.

Sound Quality : 10
This is where Im confused. People post all these bad reviews of this unit saying how much it sucks and all that. However mine simply rocks I play hard rock/metal and Im running it in the effects loop of my 120 watt all tube peavey ultra head through a 5150 straight cab. For guitars Im using a PRS custom 22 and Les Paul classic. Some of the effects are pretty useless, which Im probably just going to use to make noise but the chorus effects and the vintager effects are really cool. Something I found to be amazing is the 3d imager and bass exciter effects. I dont know about other amps but these effects really make my amp shine. The damn thing sounds like a mesa dual recto on steriods and its not really that noisy. I havent really messd with the distortions in this unit I pretty much rely on my amp for distortion and just use the modulizer for clean effects and effects to color my distortion.

Reliability : No Opinion
Dont really know yet.. it seems to be pretty solid...

Overall I have to say that for the money this is a hell of a little processor. The only real problem I have with it is that there is a 2 second gap when switching presets. Which is kind of a drag but very overlookable for the 3d imager and bass exciter. Ive been playing for about 10 years now and this is one of the cooler processors Ive owned. If it was lost or stolen I would probably buy another one if I couldnt spare the money to buy a T.C. Electronic G-Major. Overall this unit has alot of usefull effects and alot noise making effects as well. Altough it seems to be aimed more towards studio use it still makes a good live prcessor if you dont have to switch effects too fast.
