The features are pretty standard for an overdrive pedal. I've yet to see most popular pedals deviate from the level, knob, drive arrangement. The manual is pretty bogus, because all it tells you is what the knobs do and where to plug cables into it. The pedal is fine though.

I'm using a Greg Bennett AV3 guitar and a Vox AD30vt with the pedal. I use it as a gain boost for my distortion or as a light crunch on the clean. It sounds good for that and isn't very noisy. It adds tight chunk and sustain to my distortion or a bluesy break up to my cleans. It also has enough overdrive for light alternative rock or classic rock. I do notice that it only sounds good with light, bluesy gain or about full gain. In between those settings sound a bit thin. It would probably sound better on a better amp. It does fine for the blues and various rock styles I play for now.

I use it onstage all the time. It's the best plastic thing I've had. The battery will last a few weeks as well. The fact that it's plastic does hold it back, though.

I play all kinds of rock, lotsa christian and worship music, blues, and I pick at jazz. I mostly use it to boost solos or add some grit to cleans. It works just fine for that. I do wish it was smoother and warmer, but it's okay for the price. I got it because it was cheap and it sounded good enough to hold me over until I can afford better. It helps me get the sounds I need, but when the time comes, I will get a better OD.

Fairly easy to get a good sound out of it. Basic setup with vol, tone and drive controls. Didn't have to read the manual

I use the effect after a tuner, before a Digitech Bad Monkey and a Danelectro DaddyO. It is no noiser than any other overdrive pedal. I have the drive just past 12 o'clock and I get a modern overdriven slightly compressed sound - good for modern rock & light punk such as Bink 182 - I have read somwhere it is a copy of the Boss OD3 and it does have similarities but it doesn't seem to be as tight.
I use a Roland Cube 30 for practice and a Peavey bandit 80w for live work. I can find a place in my rig for this pedal especially for the modern sounds - I use the BadMonkey for theolder ACDC and Jet sounds

It is made from tough plastic and obviously not high quality like the Digitech and Boss pedals but should stand up - I look after my gear

I play in a covers band and the music ranged from pop to hard rock - It certainly handles the more modern music. I've been playing about 25 years and have gotton back into live playing in the last couple of years after a long break. I use a Roland GP8 and love it but it is getting old and I am building a backup rig from stompbox's. and I probably wouldn't replace it if it were stolen but would try something else - this is probably due to the low quality of manufacture. It does help me make music - I like using the pedal to play the modern songs
