Three knobs, one switch, input, output, thats it.

Sound Quality : 8
When put in front of the amp it gives a very low click noise which speed depends on the setting of the effect speed. Have seen this with other chorus pedals, no big issue and gone if used in the effect loop.

Besides that it is just a decent chorus effect. Does not thin out the sound, no harsh high frequencies. Very useful at low effect settings, very low plop when switched to bypass. It is not absolute top league but at least middle class.

Reliability : 8
All metal case, good components. Should make no problems.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Don't know. If broken, at this price a repair would not make sense

Overall Rating : 9
In price performance this is absolutely the best I have ever encountered in terms of effect pedals. It may not be the best chorus on the market, but it is at least as good as all the middle class ones. For one third of the price. And it does not spoil your guitar sound as so many other pedals do. Not in bypass and not in effect mode. Would be nice if it was stereo though.

Very simple to get a great sound out of this unit, no manual required, 3 knobs and a mini toggle for the speed..

Sound Quality : 9
I actually use this with my Markbass rig and sounds WONDERFUL. I haven't noticed any noise...I love the effects, I'm a set it & forget it guy, it is ON all the time.. I use this directly into my Markbass 500R bass head, so many Chorus pedals I've tried boost the signal when engaged, color the sound, with true-bypass I haven't noticed this..Just switched to Bass after 20 years as a guitarist due to a nerve injury in my left hand, so I don't have a favorite Bass player yet...

Reliability : No Opinion
only had it about 2 months, so no opinion here BUT have not had a single issue...I have it in my shock mount rack and have gigged without a backup..

Customer Support : No Opinion
...haven't dealt with them so no opinion

Overall Rating : 9
We play commercial hard rock ala Velvet Revolver and it works for me..20 years as a guitarist previously and have owned just about eveything other than high end boutiques...I'd buy another in less than a heartbeat if stolen...just love the sound, enough said...has everything I need except dual outputs but that's any easy fix..

No manual and not required. This is a tweak to taste unit featuring Blend, Spread and Speed. Also has a toggle switch which alters the chorus waves. Very easy and effective.

Sound Quality : 9
I have more of the Biyang and again, a great little product. I have recorded some parts running this fast in the backgroung and have featured it on some slower chorus passages. Both sound good. Not tinny, not muddy, not icy digital. It sounds very good and really has variety setings to offer. Ther are certainly different manfactures of Chorus effects that have their own character, but the Biyang can certainly hold it's own and has much to offer at a great price point.

Reliability : 8
I have other Biyangs and have bumped them around a bit with no problems at all noted, and I have heard of no other complaints from other players. I feel good about the sound and quality but would probably bring a backup at this point, but pretty sure it wouldn't be necessary.
nice small brushed metal casing. I am sure you could hurt it, but not easily.

Customer Support : 8
Purchased from Ebay from a very responsive seller who seems to put the customer first and I think I would get a faster response from him than from a music supply company. As there is no firmware or updates to contend with, I see no problems with support.

Overall Rating : 10
I play Rock/Blues, ect.and I have recorded this unit with very good results. I have other Chorus options as well, but this is a compact, versatile chorus with pleasing tones and sometimes can't be said for other units, some costing much, much, more.
I not even sure Biyang knows that they are really on to something with this series. The quality, sound, and price all seem to be inline for all players and i don't believe you can go wrong or regret picking one up. Again a 10 for all considerations combined for the CH-7.

Three knobs (Blend, Spread, Speed), one toggle (fast slow). Just play with them.

Sound Quality : 10
Lush, clear, quiet. Everything from a Leslie to a very subtle effect that is hardly noticeable as chorus but adds a lot of richness. The toggle selects a higher or lower range of speed settings, it is not just a fast or slow switch. It's the most pleasing chorus effect I've yet heard either from a pedal or amp.

Reliability : No Opinion
Can't say.
All metal construction, metal pots and jacks. Pots are smooth.
Construction is bent steel / stainless, the metal is of a thinner guage than a typical cast pedal but unless you're abusive I don't think it's an issue.

Customer Support : No Opinion
The only U.S. distributor is an eBay seller, his communications have been good and I would expect if there were any trouble with the pedal that he would try to make good.

Overall Rating : 9
I'd buy another one. It sounds good, it's good looking and it's priced well, so to me it's a very good value. It sits next to a Biyang delay which I'm also very happy with. I'm only giving a 9 as I'd like just a bit sturdier construction and there is no U.S. repair support.
