Actually not very easy.
Four knobs:
Rate: Ok, that's easy
depth: controls the height or depth of the waves
Manual: does something strange control where on the wave the LFO starts. A little strange. At fast rates when the pedal is feeding back on itself, it can control the pitch of the synth/siren sound.
Res: controls how much of the effect is fed back on itself. Very strange. It feeds back into crazy siren sounds after 1 or 2 o'clock.
no manual. and NOT easy.

One thing. The box says true bypass and it's NOT true bypass. On super high gain settings, you can hear a faint whoosing even when the effect is off.
The flange effects aren't that great. Whoosh whoosh blah blah blah!
What is great about the sound is the extreme effects you can achieve with high res settings (not too high - 3 o'clock is best) play with the depth and manual and you get crazy crazy siren sounds, screaming burb and whistles and general extreme **** that you cannot get with any other pedal. On some settings it's like you have a monosyth and you control the pitch with the manual knob! You can really mulch and destroy sounds.

70 euros for a siren effect? OK, that could be considered expensive but to be honest it's a pretty unique pedal with the manual LFO control and the insane "res" knob and 70 euros for a unique sound is really not much to pay these days. If you are looking for a straight flanger; avoid this BUT if you're a little crazy and write songs about police cars and fire engines - this is the siren generator you've been dreaming about!

It's got four knobs: Manual, Speed, Depth and Res. With all set at 12 o clock, it's has a great flanging swoosh tone. No manual was included but if you ever had another pedal it's easy to dial in changes. The Res can really go over the top and create a self oscillation. This kicks in around 3 o clock. I give it an 8 because there is no manual. For a new player the manual and res conecpt may be lost on them.

I played it with a fat strat with humbuckers and a telecaster clone. I played in my chain and by it's self. First the website says it's a true bypass. It's not. Without power it will not work in bypass. That being said, it has a very good non tonesucking bypass. There seems to be no effect bleeding into the line during bypass mode.
This pedal has a strong jet whoosh sound, but isn't easily toned down to just give a subtle sound. It's just a whooshing flanger. The RES knob once turned past 3 o clock it oscilates, sounding like someone is blowing a slide whistle. It's domineering to the point of being almost the only sound. It's annoying and easy to diak in by accident. If you did that in concert, you'd look like a fool. Crank down the speed and depth, turn the RES off and set manual up to about 3 o clock and it sounds more discreet, but it still whooshes. You can get some doubling going with the right twiddle, but it still whooshes, get the idea? It's kind of a one trick pony. But then someone out there will love it. I don't. I'll rate this a 7 since it does make a great jet whoosh ut not a lot else.

It's built like a brick. It's got a stainless steel mirror top that curves over the front edge. It's really very attractive. I've not played it long enough to really test it, but it's a stout pedal.

Solid built pedal.
Makes a Lovely Flanging Jet Whoosh, but it's always there.
I put my DOD 1700 chorus flanger pedal back in the chain.
