Ease of Use : 10
I think the pedal is very easy to use and to get a good sound out of. It comes with 3 chips (including the JRC4558 chip that was used on old tube screamer pedals). It is tricky to change the chips (without bending the prongs) but it can be learned.

Sound Quality : 10
I haven't tried the pedal with single coil guitars yet, but with humbucking pickups, it sounds great. The 3 position switch (it also has drive, tone and volume knobs) changes the character of the overdrive, but all 3 positions sound great to me. The pedal is very quiet, and the bypass doesn't color the sound at all when the pedal is off. I can get an overdrive that sounds as good as an overdrive on a good tube amp (I have a VHT Pittbull 50 12) and the Biyang's overdrive doesn't suffer in comparison. I also have a Route 66 overdrive/compressor that was one of my favorite pedals, and the Biyang's overdrive is probably better than the Route 66 (which is very good).

Reliability : No Opinion
I haven't gigged with the pedal, but it seems solidly built. I've had no problems with it so far.

Customer Support : 9
I've had good communications with customer service (asking them general questions about their products). I haven't had any problems with their pedals, so I can't say how service would be in the event that a problem came up. But based on the quick emails, I would give them a good rating.

Overall Rating : 10
I mostly would use this pedal for blues/fusion kind of playing. It definitely works well for those applications. I would probably get 2 of them and use one for the neck pickup and another for the bridge pickup so I could have a good sounding overdrive for whatever pickup I chose to use. Overall, I think it is a great pedal, and especially for the money.

simple to replace chip sets. be very careful when doing so, wires on chips can be bent. Don't like thumbscrews used, not enough to grab onto. otherwise easy pedal to use.

Sound Quality : 4
I was very disappointed by this pedal. I bought the ds-8, and I was so impressed that I bought this pedal. the two are in completely different ball parks. I bought it to replace my Visual Sound Jeckyll and Hyde, simply because that pedal is so large. unfortunately that is not going to happen. The overdrive of the visual sound is much more musical than the biyang.

In the end I just got a very thin sounding pedal.

I recommend the ds8 but not this pedal. Now I am weary of buying anything else from them.

overall not the worst pedal on the market. but for overdrive this thing just does not cut it.

I am using this with my strat, and Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. Not the biggest fan of the amps overdrive but i really like it's cleans and how well it takes pedals. Maybe with the voicing of this pedal it would work better with a les paul or similar guitar. but with my guitar it was just scraggly and thin. band agreed thumbs down on this pedal.

Reliability : No Opinion
no opinion as of yet.

If you can get one for a couple buck go for it. otherwise I would recommend staying away. there are so many flavors of overdrives out there that I don't see the point in gambling with this pedal. 50 bucks ebay, not biggest loss for me.

just passable in my opinion.

Very good housing, Chickenhead Knobs, Very easy to use. The Chip is easy to change also. But be careful that you do not break the legs. You have to make it suitable for the holes before pressing. Do not use power!!!

Sound Quality : 9
This has three chips which can be changed easyly.

With JRC4558D:
Very similar to TS-08 or 09. But with a little mor attack. The bright and warm switch does not alter the sound in a good way. It might be good if you have too harsh single Coil Pickups (switch to warm) or powerfull Humbuckers with less Highs (switch to bright). The TS Position is fine for me.

With NE5532:
Warmer sound, less Highs, less attack. IMHO it is not transparent enough. Sounds a little weak

With TL072:
Very good sound (my favourite). It has more Gain than the 4558 it is a little bit more powerful and it is a liitle bit more transparent. Like a good TS Clone should. If you ask for comparison than I tell you the Fulldrive 2 but actually not that class.

I play with Strat, Les Paul and others through ENGL Sovereign or Laney Lionheart L20H. The OD-8 sounds good with all my gear.

It is really great but the 10 is only for Fulltone and XOTIC :-)

Reliability : 10
Everything??s fine. Nothing will brak, good, Input jacks and Knobs and switch. Great Chrome housing

Customer Support : 10
Very fine, and nice guys. Bought it at the German Distributor

Overall Rating : 10
It is really True Bypass and this for 50 Bucks!!!

Great Sound and very good Quality.

Very innovative for a chinese product with 3 Chips to change to get your personal sound.
