Couldn't be easier. You stand on it to turn it on, you stand on it again to turn it off. 1 "Speed" knob and 2 "Intensity" switches give a total of 4 possible intensity settings.
Sound Quality

I compared this to the MXR Phase pedal and I'll say there is no noticeable difference. Dial in your settings and you're in phase heaven. Absolutely quiet operation. Sounds great with a little drive and makes those lead passages really stand out.
Reliability

Solid steel case and true bypass switch. I'd gig with it for sure. In fact, I can't wait! If it were stolen or lost I'd absolutely replace it.

If you play with a phase pedal, I urge you to try this. It blows any other phase in this price range out of the water. No contest.
