Ease of Use : 10
It has two knobs and a flatt out attack that makes me want to play more!! Think Albert Lee, Bill Hullett and every session Nashville player that slings a Tele.

Sound Quality : 9
My Tele, Maxon Delay and Tight Squeeze in to my Fender tweed Bassman and for more grit I add a Timmy pedal.
Run this in front of the chain and dead quiet no **** and totally transparent and chewy knawy bottom notes as well as chimy spanky upper ones.

Reliability : 9
When I took the back off the cast hammond case to install the 9V I was stunned at such a well made work of art with some fine low noise parts true bypass also a nice little trim pot to tweak it to compress to the hilt!
I want another one before the price gos up $125.00 is way cool.

Customer Support : 10
Hands down Jim West is a smooth salesman with care and a wellspring of info on this stuff I just play guitar, guys like this are hard to find.

Overall Rating : 9
I had at least a dozen Compressors over the 20 years of playing Keely, Ibenez, Boss (please)Dynacomp and the way over priced Ross.
This thing blows them away it bounces back from any agressive attack and [solo at length] for mean pickin.
Love this pedal.

Ease of Use : 10
Very easy to use and intuitive. Only two knobs, switch and an LED.

Sound Quality : 10
I'm playing with just this pedal and a Telecaster into either a Pignose or a Fender Super Champ. The sound quality is superb, transparent compression from mild to way too much. This pedal nails the tone of country session guitarists as well as snappy roots reggae players.

Reliability : 10
I would gig without a backup, no doubt.

Customer Support : 10
Very good communicaton, from emails to phone calls.

Overall Rating : 10
I play blues, country, and reggae. I'm in a band, and this is exactly what I needed. I would not hesitate to get another if this was stolen or lost. I don't think it will ever break, it's built like a tank.
My favorite feature of it is I can dial in a crisp spank for "Mary Jane's Last Dance".

Ease of Use : 10
Ease of use?.....It has two knobs. Nuff said. It's about impossible to get a bad sound.

Sound Quality : 10
Most of my guitars have SDuncan Seth Lovers in them. My Schecter
custom Strat has Duncan minis(JBJR,Duckbucker,Lil59). I use Budda Verbmasters for amplitude. A four ten on one side and a two ten one the other. The two ten sits on a Motion sound SR112 for Leslie effects.
As far as effects, I use a Budda Phat man for crunch, RMC3 wah(sometimes a Budda wah), and the rest Maxon.(AD900, AD80, OD808, PH350, CS550, AF9, and untill recently a CP101.
I've owned and used alot of comps in my career. Original Dyna's, Ross's, Dod's, etc. The CP101 was the best scrole Dyna I've ever owned, and I figured I'd never need another Comp. But the Tight Squeeze did just that. Sueezed it's way onto my pedal board.
I'm told it's a Ross clone, but my Ross was never this quiet. I Emailed Jim West to ask him about it and he said he's using a 2N5088 instead of the 2SC1849 that the Ross used. (I have no idea what he's talkin about....I'm a guitar player not an engineer.) What ever it is,it's as quiet as a mouse fart.

Reliability : 8
I don't really know since I haven't giged out with it yet, but from the look and the feel of it I dought any body would have a problem. I did use it in the studio and I said before......mouse fart.

Customer Support : 10
He Emailed me right back.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing for over 25 Years. Still play R 'N' R, Still dream of being a Rock Star, Still record on a regular basis. Ain't given up till they fire up the kiln. As far as the Tight Squeeze is concerned, I'm getting another one for my smaller pedal board that I use around town.
This puppy really squeezes the sustain outta the guitar. But it doesn't color the sound at all. REEEEEL transparent.

Ease of Use : 10
Very easy to use and to listen to. just 2 knobs. no instructions needed.

Sound Quality : 10
I am using it with 2 Ibanez custom Blazer guitars, 1 3 single coil and the other is hum sing hum. 2 Fender Pro Jr amps in stereo. A TC Electronics 2290 Delay. a Maxon OD808, DW Labs Distortion and a Boss Chorus ensemble.
The Tight Squeeze is True Bypass. Sounds great all around with gain it adds and nice sustain and the tone is pure. Clean it can put on a squeeze some lawyers would kill to be able to match. :--)

Reliability : 10
Hand wired. Matel case. Seems to be built to last for ever. I got it at a shop called "Aftermidnight guitars" ion Santa Fe New Mexico. They only have quality stuff in that shop. Stuff just doesn't fall apart after you leave the store with it.

Customer Support : 10
HI Met the guy that built it, he seemed really nice and truly concerned that I was happy. offered to swap out a resister if i was happy with the high end. Had the unit for about 2 months now. I don't forsee and problems with because of the way it is built.

Overall Rating : 10
I Play every thing from (my 5 albums) rock fusion-smooth Jazz. to freelance sideman gigs working with major artist. I have been playing guitar for 28 years. I would buy another one right away. I have another pedalboard that I might buy one for very soon anyway. It has a very cool sound. kind of like the Ross Comp. I guess it's a Ross Clone but with 2n5088 in it instead.
I own a few other compressor pedals. This wins hands down. It is way cool in the studio. because it has such a cool tone to it. Producers and Engineers are Ok for me to track with it. (Usually you don't track with compression on)
