Ease of Use : 10
This pedal comes preprogrammed with 11 factory presets so you can start running out of the box. The presets are programmable so you can tweek them and save for a sound better suited to your own taste. The manual is written in simple language anyone can understand. No over your head techy mumbojumbo. There are several buttons, and if that kind of thing intimidates you don't let it. I was up and running in minutes. Read the manual in 15 minutes and that was it.

Sound Quality : 10
I play this through a Mesa Lonestar Special with a G&L Comanche. I also have a 59 fender bandmaster. The pedal really makes these amps shine, with 3 differant chorus' to choose from its hard to tell what sounds better. This pedal is really 3 in one, if the chorus is set right you can get some nice leslie sounds, if you add some delay and time it properly you can get some awesome leslie sounds. The pedal is that good. Noise is an absolute minimum. I primarily play SRV, Kenny Wayne, and some Floyd. The chorus absolutley nails Floyd, and KWS. With the leslie sounds you can easily get the dreamy SRV ballad sounds. Playing Floyd intros with the chorus and delay sound perfect I couldn't ask for more.

Reliability : 10
I havn't had it long enough to really test this, but the unit is solidly built out of steel, and is heavy. I can't imagine breaking it under normal gigging use. This will definetly be on the road with me. I will take it everywhere. I can't imagine it being anything but very dependable.

Customer Support : 10
I have talked to Mike several times before I bought it. I couldn't hear any sound clips or demos anywhere so I wanted a few questions answered before I took the plunge. I called after I had it just to give them praise. They answered the phone everytime, and were willing to answer every question.

Overall Rating : 10
I play alot of blues and Floyd as mentioned earlier. The pedal goes real well with my Mesa LS special, and bandmaster. The Comanche really takes on a brighter tone with this pedal and I like it. If the pedal was lost or stolen I'd replace it in a heart beat. The only thing I would change, maybe, is I would make the little style selector buttons bigger so you can access them better with your foot. Other than that the pedal is perfect. My previous pedals were a ce-2, univibe, and a de-7. None of them were as versatile as this.

Ease of Use : 10
The manual is clearly written and easy to understand. I was recording my own presets within minutes.

Sound Quality : 10
Before the E-155 I was using a T-REX replica delay and A TC chorus pedal. I was able to replace both of those pedals with this one product. The sounds are great, no mid-hump with the delay. The chorus can be light and airy, lush, or shimmery depending on how you set it. The delay can do a great slap back also. I have one set for a slap back and the other for the longer cascading delay sound. You can also get wild sounding reverse delay. The pedal gives you eleven presets to work with; therefore, you can have multiple delay/chorus settings.

SO far no problems. I've talked with the owner of the product and feel like he would take care of me if anything were to happen.

I spoke with the owner who was very helpful with a couple of qustions I had. It seems he really cares about the product and how its working for you. That folks is what customer service should be.

Overall Rating : 10
I primarily use a couple of Suhr guitars and a Parker fly mojo. The amps I use are Fender, Bruno, and Glasswerks amps. All of the aforementioned products sound excellent with the boomerang. I am not new to botique gear and have owned many of the coveted pedals, but I'll put the boomerang upp against any of them.

Light years better than any product that I have used before mainly Boss products. I have been playing professionally for 30 years and play mostly 60s thru 90s rock. Would purchase again if need

Easy to use, I was up and running in minutes without the manual.

Sound Quality : 10
On the recordings I have used it on it sounds great.

Reliability : 9
It is solidly built, I have only used it in my home studio. I also own the Boomerang II phrase sampler and it has worked for years upon end without trouble, so I imagine this unit will follow the same tradition.

Customer Support : 10
In the times I have emailed company the owner has personally responded to inquiries and in a timely manner.

I'm using the Boomerang E-155 in my home studio for myself and other players and have to say it offers great sound and options. I especially enjoy the reverse function and tape delay.

This pedal sounded great right out of the box but I changed some of the presets to match my tastes. Editing is a matter of twisting knobs till you like what you hear then pressing store. The manual is pretty good but you really don't need it unless you're going to assign individual parameters to an expression pedal.

Sound Quality : 10
I play Michael Rowan guitars through various combo amps with Barber Electronics pedals for overdrive and distortion. With the E-155 between the Barber pedals and my amp the tones were stellar. Tape delay was perfect for saturated lead tones and I used a factory preset slapback with some overdrive for a nice raunchy blues tone. I play a wide range of music in clubs & for private parties and this thing offers a nice variety of sounds. OH yeah, it's very quiet.

Reliability : 9
Only time will tell but Boomerang has a reputation for building tough, reliable looping pedals so I imagine this one will last a long time. It has a steel chassis.

Haven't needed to call them so far.

I've been playing professionally and semi-pro for decades. Songs in our repertoire range from blues and rock to ballads to jazz tunes like Take 5 and Caravan. The only other pedal I use is a Line 6 tremolo. I'd definitely replace this puppy if stolen because it sounds great and has simplified my pedal board.
