My pedal is a Version 1 (same feature set as preproduction), and the sound is pristine. 48KHz sample rate, 20 bit samples, no compression, -104dB noise floor.

My rig is guitar -> compressor -> Barber Small Fry Burn Unit (distortion) -> volume pedal -> Boomerang(R) E-155 Chorus*Delay -> tube amp. I use various axes, but primarily Rowan Custom Guitars. I love the tones I get and frequently get compliments on my tone. The Rang pedals do not suck tone at all.

I play rock (pop to classic to ballads), rockin' blues and a bit of jazz and finger style guitar. My 2 Rang pedals sound great and would be replaced if they were stolen.
