My recently modified Boss MT-2 from Von Lehmann Engineering sounded great straight out of the box. It came with a small instruction manual that explained the changes that had been made and gave me a sound to start experimenting with. From there on, it was just a matter of tweaking the knobs and hearing what you like.

I used it with my Gibson Les Paul with EMG 85's , which I ran into a Mesa single Rect and the sound was awesome...In fact, since getting this pedal, I???ve started running my Mesa on its clean channel and letting the Modified MT-2 supply the distortion. The notes now seem to jump from the speakers. In regards to noise, there's still some noise but the quality is different and not so booming which means that I can turn my noise gate down.

I've only had this modified pedal for 6 weeks and have gigged 8 times with it, so far there's never been a problem.
It does come with a warrenty on all non-mechanical parts

Dealing with Von Lehmann Engineering was geat.........they emailed me as soon as they recieved my pedal, and emailed me again a few days later my pedal was sent back to me.
They were also very fast as respoding to my email question prior to purchasing the "China Syndrome" Mod

I play primarily metal and hard rock and have been obsessed with guitars and pedals for 15 years...........and am always looking for ways to improve my guitar sound.
Over the years I've owned countless distortion pedals, including the Zvex Fuzz factory, the AMT Extreme II as well as just about every other distortion pedal BOSS has ever made..............and this Von Lehmann Modded MT-2 is by far my favourite...........if it was lost or stolen I wouldn't hesitate to get a new one.
