Fairly straightforward.

A total disappointment. Thin tone with no depth. Stomping this thing into action causes an immediate change in overall tone sucking any warmth or depth right out of your guitar.

I play funk and R&B and I hoping this would be a nice addition to the Boss lineup of pedals I have. Played a few rehearsals with it and it's coming out of the lineup. I would avoid this product honestly which is hard to say about a Boss product.

it auto sweeps like a phase shifter but it's a wah wah.. completely
useless to me... bad sound quality.. going to the garbage can!!

I was disappointed. I was not expecting a Mutron but at least something like the Boss T-Wah. This didn't come close and for the single-note funky lines I play with this effect, it wasn't worth keeping. I liked this less than the DOD envelope filter

I own a Mutron. I don't like to tour with it though. I ended up buying a Q-tron to take with me on the road. I originally purchased this because I played a friend's BOSS T-Wah and loved it. I wanted something smaller than those big TRON pedals. They aren't close to the same, sadly. I also own an old DOD e.filter which doesn't get much use either. I guess it depends on how you want to use this effect and how picky you are about your tones. If possible, try b4 u buy.
