The sound quality of this unit is awesome. Sure that may sound like a bit of an exaggeration for a bass compressor, but it does its given task very well. It gives a nice tight response for slap and pop styles and doesn't thin out the bottom like the Arion guitar compressor I had before it did. The coolest thing to do with this pedal though is to run a regular electric guitar through it--it makes your clean sound so thick and fat. It reminds me of Chunky Clam Chowder soup!

This thing is a workhorse, I have been kicking it around for almost 9 years now and it just keeps kicking back. It does suck down batteries hard though if you go that route, so don't.

I dealt with the company about another product, and they weren't as much help as I would've hoped for, but they did get me the basic material that I needed to get what I actually needed.

If, like me, all the effects you need in your bass rig are a simple compressor, then this is the way to go.
