Ease of Use : 10
it has a level knob, a rate knob, a depth knob and a low/hi eq... how hard can it be to mess with the thing?? jeez!

Sound Quality : 7
Well the effects you can get on this thing are great, but for some reason there's still that "hum" noise you get when it's on. I've even tried it through my head's effects loop and it still hums... so...

Reliability : 8
well I've never had it fail on me.. or even come close to failing, but there's still that annoying hum...

Customer Support : No Opinion
Well since I've never had any problems I've never had to deal with the tech support. Although I would be inclined to assume that Boss tech support would be just as cool as their products!

Overall Rating : 10
compared to all the other chorus pedals I've tried, this one was the best! Otherwise I probably wouldn't have bought it now, would I?

it's really not that complicated, but if you've never dealt with chorus pedals, much less chorus itself, you'll have to consult the manual. Still, the manual contains some sample settings which help you understand the product's operation better, and after that, it's pretty simple. It has four knobs: level, rate, depth and filter, which can produce a LOT of different tonalities.

Sound Quality : 10
It sounds GREAT, and in my opinion, much better than other vintage choruses (AARGH!!!!Blasphemy!!!!). You can get everything from a clean-cut chorus to a really thick & bassy one. And if you raise the rate high enough and lower the depth, you get a really cool vibrato. I think the sound of the unit speaks for itself.

Reliability : 10
Physically, it's very dependable and very tough, like ALL of Boss' stompboxes. Sonically, it's very reliable also. It has never ever failed me.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I've never had to deal with the company, and I wonder why anyone would have to, unless it already came deffective.

Overall Rating : 10
I would definitely buy it again, and I love the way it makes you feel when you play through it, seriously! It makes your playing feel kind of watery and refreshing, and can reproduce almost any chorus sound. I once played a Boss Super Chorus at the store, which is good but does NOT compare to this one. This small stompbox can make sounds comparable to those of a full rack unit, due to a superb sound quality. And If you don't have that many effects, it's a great way to customize your sound for the better. It's not that expensive, and it's not cheap either, but for around $105, it's a great value.

As it has four pots you have to collect a little experience first. After that phase it is no problem to select your sound. The filter functions are very useful but again experience is required. Changing the battery is a little bit tricky.

Sound Quality : 10
Very good sound, very low noise, even when using it for a bass guitar. Wide range of effects level.

Reliability : 9
Very stable. Metal case.

No problems up to now.

Overall Rating : 10
I think it is the best chorus device in stomp box format you can get. Very flexible, very good sound. With its adjustable filter I use it for bass, electric and acoustic guitar (not possible with CS-3).

If you want a great sounding chorus, buy this pedal. It is so easy to find a great setting on this pedal. It produces great sounding chorus effects. Also it has another feature which suprised me when I bought it. This pedal when set right, sounds just like a phaser. It has kick ass vibrato settings.

Sound Quality : 9
This pedal is not noisy at all. The chourus effects are very rich, smooth and clean. They sound alot like the Marshall chorus on Marshall amps.

Reliability : 10
You could trust this pedal with your life. period.

You will never need to deal with BOSS, but if you did they would be really nice.

Overall Rating : 10
I would buy it again. I love it. And if you want to try a cool chorus sound with distortion, make sure you have the effects level cranked so you hear the chorus.
It makes great sound, and you should stop looking for another pedal right now cause this one is the beast.

very easy to get a decent sound. lots of variety in sound for a chorus pedal. instead of one pot for the tone, it's got that, now common, pot-within-a-pot for high and low filter control. but again, very easy to find some good sounds with.

Sound Quality : 10
i am very happy with the shimmering tone that this box produces. i had a digitech rp-1, and it had chorus built into it, but i had no idea that it sucked so bad until i heard this sweet pedal. beautiful to listen to.

Reliability : No Opinion
no problems yet.

Overall Rating : 10
i would buy it again. it's a definite must for someone who needs a wide variety of tones.
