I use this equalizer as a pre-amply for my acoustic guitar, with a fishman Piezo-pickup. It substitutes the controls and equalizer on electroacustic guitars, and it's better because it has 7 bands, and it may be used with other instruments. Since my guitar doesn't have a good sound (it's very cheap) the equalizer is fundamental to cut off some mid-range frequences to make the guitar sound better.
