Ease of Use : 9
same boss set-up:$ knobs depth, rate, resonance, and mode it was just a bit hard to find a good setting

Sound Quality : 10
On the 1st mode you get a more normal sound out of it. On the 2nd mode you get a more swishy warm sound out of it.

Reliability : 10
Some alien life forms come down and anialate our planet, as they sift through the rubble, the only things that remain unscaved are those colerful little BOSS pedals. IT IS A BOSS TAKE MY ADVICE AND BUILD A FUCKING BOMB SHELTER OUT OF YOURS WHILE YOU STILL CAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It has 4 knobs. Rate, Depth, and Resonance, and mode. The mode setting toggles between two very different modes.

Sound Quality : 10
The effects sound awesome! You can get the cool slow phased sound out of it. One of my favorite things to do is to go really fast phasing with low depth and use my DS-1. Is sounds really weird. Like a cool reverb. Very usable sounds.

Reliability : 10
Very reliable. But it sucks batteries

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never had to call

Overall Rating : 10
It is awesome because you can use it everywhere. It sounds great both clean and distorted. A lot of usable sounds.

It's very easy to use. Any idiot can figure out how to use it. Also, the knobs are very informative and you get used to it very quickly.

Sound Quality : 10
What I really love about this pedal is that, unlike most other phasers (I have couple of other phasers), you can create an enormous diversity of range of sounds: you can go extreme and produce really avant-garde type of stuffs if you want, or you can stick to the convention of soft-phasing. Also, since there are two modes of sounds for this pedal, you can choose your preferred sound. I personally liked Mode II better.

Reliability : 7
I mean it's a Boss. I've kicked it several times and dropped it many times, but it's still alive. But, the knobs are kind of fragile: my friend once broke the knob.

Overall Rating : 10
I love this pedal. I would definitely buy it again. Its enormous range of sound really impresses me. It's the best phaser I've ever used. But, a word of caution: If you don't like avant-garde, experimental music, then this pedal may not be the one for you.

This is a great pedal with very wide ranges of usable sounds. The more subtles ranges offer wide enough sweet spots to allow good control over the sound.

Sound Quality : 10
Any pedal of this type is going to give noise, but this one isn't as bead as many I've used. The effects are excellent and flexible enough to be used for a variety of purposes. I use mine both for acoustic and electric set ups.

Reliability : 10
Never had any problems with any Boss effects.

Overall Rating : 10
It's a great pedal. Try using it with an acoustic set up. Really thickens things up in a non-crazy way. I don't know how much it cost because I got it with a bunch of stuff I bought all together.

Ease of Use : 10
pretty standard knobs-on-stompbox but very wide sweet spots

Sound Quality : 7
Very lush sound (another groovy device housed in a loud green box) has a nice natural feel. VERY VERY usable sound Not as intrusive as a flange or as gimmiky as some other phasers (don't get me wrong, you get set it to 'I live in a jet engine')

Reliability : 10
I've never really had much trouble with any Boss effect This one has never failed, glitched, or complained about being used wwhile SCUBA diving

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never had to make the call

Overall Rating : 8
I doubt I'll replacce this box with rack stuff It is definitely stomp-boxy , but a quiet and rich sounding version - use it as such I would buy this one again if you want a phaser that isn't embedded in an effects chain, is easy to tweakk under fire and sounds good this is it
