Ease of Use : 10
This is a very solid and simple attenuator, in, out and audio level control.

Sound Quality : 9
I have only tried a one other attenuator, a Weber Mini-Mass, and for half the cost and without a 3 week wait the Little Sucker is, IMHO,a much better product.
I play blues and my setup is simple, a Fender Deluxe Reverb and a Strat, pure tone. The problem with this set up is that thought the Deluxe Reverb is only a 22 watt tube amp it is a loud 22 watts and in most venues I could not run the amp up to 5 on volume as it was too loud. Running at volumes under 5 would miss the sweet spot of the amp and I would have to resort to an expensive Voodoo Lab overdrive and face it, no matter what they cost distortion pedals can't produce convincing tweed tones. I a Weber Mini Mass and it "dolby'ed" the amp and colored the tone to the point that it was unusable (I sold the Mini Mass two weeks later). I bought the Little Sucker as a last ditch attempt at an attenuator otherwise I was looking at a large purchase of Princeton Recording amp (the Blues JR was not an option for tone reasons. To be honest I thought I was throwing my money away but I figured it was worth $50 to try it. Big surprises come in small packages and I could not be happier with the Little Sucker attenuator. Not only does it not color the sound, I am able to dial in great tweed tones at usable gig volume levels. If your amp has tone, this attenuator is your ticket to get those tones at usable volume levels. I would rate this a 10 however somewhere out in the universe there may be something better but at a price tag of only $50 I doubt I'll find it in my lifetime.

Reliability : 9
There is very little to the Little Sucker and at first I was disappointed at the simplicity of design until I heard what it would do. A solid and simple design...simple is better. That said I have used it a few couple gigs and it performs admirably and based on it's simple component design, steel case and heavy duty audio level control I can not foresee this unit causing me any grief.

Customer Support : 9
While I have not had to use customer support for problems I did however ask the company several questions at various times, even after I already won the item, about the unit and the responses were always same day and informative.

Overall Rating : No Opinion
I've been playing 36 years now, been through more amps and guitars than I can count. Always been a tube amp guy (Marshall, Sunn, Fender) and own (and play) an ES-355 Lucille, 1960 LP Classic, Gibson Sonex 180 (my first Gibson), 2 Standard Strats, a Telecaster and another half dozen other guitars. Being able to play all these guitars through the sweet spot of any of my tube amps, at most any level in any venue is a real trip and something I was not able to do without the Little Sucker.

Ease of Use : 10
Just plug it in between your head and cabinet, and adjust the volume.

Sound Quality : 10
I use The Little Sucker with my Peavey Classic 30 head and 2x12 cabinet, and it reproduces the sound I need at any volume level with no coloration.

Reliability : 10
I've used it 50+ times and it hasn't let me down yet.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Have not had to use any customer support.

Overall Rating : 10
Built like a tank, in a heavy duty metal enclosure. It doesn't take up much space. I was looking for a simple attenuator to help get that sound I heard in my head, and The Little Sucker did the job. It is very affordable for the job it does.
