Simple, but weird. The pitch shifts when I turned the rate faster!
Whsts up with that?

Sound Quality : 3
I play a Fender Am. Std. Fat Strat through a Fender Hot Rod. This unit is a little noisy, I heard a constant chipping noise through the amp when not playing. The chorus was very weak at moderate settings and kinda weird at higher settings. It changed the pitch too much.
It sounded like crap with my Fender, so I tried it with my Martin acoustic through my solid state amp, not much better - too weak.

Reliability : 3
It's plastic. The battery clip was too small. One good stomp and it may break.

I play mostly rythym, that's why I need a chorus pedal. This unit is too weak sounding and tinny for me. I'm gonna take it back and get an RP-100 mutli-effects pedal. I only bought this cuz it was on sale, but honestly, it isn't worth $20.

There is no manual, so you are kind of left on your own. It was my first chorus pedal, so I was not familiar with how they worked and no manual make it hard as hell to figure out. Eventually I got it, but I dunno, it was not pleasant to a first time chorus user.

Sound Quality : 4
Not noisy, doesn't really sound cheap but the knobs are weird. The knob you turn will progress very slowly and then even though you turn it slow it jumps to another sound completely. And turning different knobs results in changing the sound of knobs you just set, so its hardly versatile at all, but I only bought it to get a slow flange sound and a nirvana type chorus (come as you are). These two things it does perfectly, but not everyone wants just two settings so I give it a 4.

Reliability : 6
Its plastic, so don't stomp the crap out of it and you'll be fine. Cheap wiring, the battery connector wires broke after about 3 months. But its not heavy duty at all.

Bought from Sam Ash, their service kicks ass.

I used to love this pedal but now I think it sucks. I want to replace it with a Small Clone chorus. For a first chorus, it was ok but it is pretty one dimensional. There are definitely better pedals out there. Now I just use it for a stereo split, which it does excellently.

Three knobs. Rate, Level, Depth. indicator light to tell you its on. Have to play with it to get the sounds you like. The rate creates the sound modulation. The manual is basic like most manuals. Shows a few basic settings. Runs on battery or 9v adapter. Plug connections are on top of the unit, which is different than some other pedals (Boss for instance, which connects on the side).

This was the first fx pedal I bought when i got back into playing several months ago. my budget was limited and this was priced right. i play a Fender US Squier Strat into a 65W Fender solid-state 1x12. i have the Brownsville Chorus, Boss BF2 Flanger, & Boss DS1 Distortion running through a Boss NS2 Noise Suppressor within my amps effects loop. Outside of the NS2 I have a Boss DD5 Delay. I've also got my amps overdrive & reverb. (I just ordered a wah pedal to try too).
Sound is ok, no big noise problem. I have found two settings which I enjoy. One gives a nice bright chorus effect, good for chords; the other setting is a nice lead sound. other than that, i haven't found many other settings i'm interested in.
if you set the rate much past 4 or 5 it gets real warbly to the point of being out of tune. if you set level or depth too low - you lose all perceivable sound. so i find you tend to keep rate down, and level and depth kind of high.
since it was my first pedal, and i really haven't heard other chorus boxes, i can't compare. i do like the chorus sound - i use it a lot. I use it with the flanger too, nice sound.

i play for hobby. have had it several months. works fine. no problems. again, i'm using a 9v adapter, not batteries.

haven't had to use support.

It was a good starter pedal for the price. other chorus pedals are about twice as much in cost. good sound for the money. i could definitely see myself replacing this someday with a Boss chorus - or at least trying some other Chorus pedals to see if a greater range and expression of chorus sounds can be found.
