It's a wah. You know what to do. No extra knobs or switches to get in the way.

This is the best wah I have ever heard. My setup is either a Epiphone Sheraton or an ESP M-250 > Boss Tuner > Boss Compressor > Fulltone OCD > Ibanez Tubescreamer > Budda Wah > Boss DD-5 > Boss Loopstation > Fender HotRod Deluxe 4x10".
Previously I used my friend's Crybaby. What a POS. Seriously, I could never believe so many people use the Crybaby... You might as well just play your guitar out of your alarm clock speaker. It absolutely destroys your guitar tone. Not the Budda. The difference is amazing. It makes me WANT to use the wah since it's so vocal. True bypass makes a big difference. The sweep is very wide and it doesn't muddy your tone when it's up and doesn't give you the thin ear-piercing shrillness of a lesser wah when pushed down. I've also used it with a Gibson Les Paul out of a Marshall and sounds just as money.

I play almost every style, but mainly rock and funk. This thing is the wah I've always dreamed of. There's a reason the user review averages are so high. It doesn't click or pop when switched on or off, it doesn't hurt the tone, it isn't shrill or muddy, and you don't have to lean a full 180 lbs. on it to turn it on/off. It's a bit more expensive than some other wahs, but trust me...it's worth it. Try it out and you'll see why.

This sucker is pretty straightforward. If you bought a wah you should know how to use one. Didn't come with a manual, but it doesn't really need one if all it's got is a footboard, a switch and a battery compartment.

I use this pedal through a 30 watt fender that I bought for 50 bucks from my guitar teacher. The amp was and still is the sound that I wanted. Basically, the amp is what I like and it sounds awesome.
The wah pedal is dead silent when off, and when it's on, there is no loud buzzing or anything; well grounded. Of course, it buzzes a little in the fully down position, but that's because it's accentuating the high frequencies where the buzz comes from anyway. No extra noise.
This pedal is the most vocal of any wah I've ever heard. In 5 minutes I could play clapton, hendrix, morello and every other wah-using guitarist under the sun.
Better yet, this pedal deals well with the problem of the screaming wah; that is to say that it doesn't pierce my eardrums unless I turn the treble and the distortion up and shove it to the fully down position, but then that's what it's supposed to do under those conditions. It's is also the smoothest wah of any, no sudden jumps from treble to bass, and no harsh grating while it's moving.
I also use a wah as a tone control, and it's very easy to perfect that tone with this pedal
I have heard complaints that other pedals will boost the signal when they're on, but not this one. On and off, there is no variation in signal. I've also heard other guitarists complaining about a click when they turn it on, but I've never had the problem. Oh, and if you break the switch after the warranty is up, don't go running to mommy, just buy another and install it, it isn't that hard.

This thing is built like a rock. I've already dropped it and stomped on it; still sounds fine. I gig with it without backup, and I would run over it with a car with confidence.

I play whatever I need to play, and this pedal does it all. If I lost this pedal somehow, I would immediately go buy another; and if it were broken i would also be happy to buy another. I think it'll outlive me, though. To those of you who complain about the jacks, plugs, switches and mechanics of a wah: figure out how to fix it yourself before you go complaining about it on forums and shipping it back in a temper tantrum.

This is the problem!
Sometimes the pedal is in a state in which when I activate wah, this one is in silence.
I do not say that wha is inactive, but that is no sound. This is not problem when I record in my house, but is terrible in the scene.
This has happened since I bought 5 years back.

It's really easy and the wah-sound great. I owned a crybaby and a Morley before and this one is by far the best. Also the bypass is something I don't want to work without anymore. Don't know why it hasn'become a standard for effect pedals yet.
Here is the downside of this pedal: If you do the full sweep, you will hit the switch (without switching)because it is to long. This will generate a pretty loud metallic 'click' as you release the switch when you move the pedal back up. If you play life it doesn't matter but in low volume situations (a recording situation for instance ) it's absolutely annoying. You can't use this pedal at low volumes or you can't use the full sweep.

For the sound I wound give it a 10 because the wah sound is perfect.
It's a shame that I have to give it a 6 just because at this price it should also be perfect in it's mechanical construction.
If Budda won't come up with a solution(ie.send me a better switch), I will have to exchange it at my own expense. That is unaceptable for a product that wants to be "top of the line" and I will only do it because I love the sound. (and the cool looks!)

I just got the Bud Wah and matched it up with my Super Reverb Reissue and it really has a quality tone to it. As others have mentioned, it is transparent when off, and very quiet while in use. I have an original Thomas Organ Cry Baby, and it never sounded as good as this.

I play anything from 50's to current blues/rock/pop. Been playing since 1963 and have been semi pro since 1975. I am a great Uriah Heep fan, so having a wah pedal is essential to cop Mick Box's licks. My Cry Baby stood by me well for many years, but it was tired, and would cost nearly half this much to rebuild it. So I just decided to try this since the reviews were good, and it was supposed to be smoother than the Cry Babys, which it is. It has a high end, but not quite as screechy and scratchy as my old one. I have a Super Reverb in which Leo reached design perfection, and a nice little Carvin X60B combo which really rocks since I stuck a Weber Cali speaker in it. I guess it might be cool if this pedal had a variable Q pot, but maybe that would be asking for too much. I'm definitely happy with it so far.

Very transparent when switched off. This is the most expressive wah on the market ( talkbox like ) and very vocal. Does not add alot noise even with higher gain settings ( wahs are prone to noise). I used this with a host of amps heres a few ( Marshall artist 30, Marshall 2550, Marshall MKII Lead and Bass, Marshall JCM 900, Fender Vibrolux, Fender Deluxe, Fender Blues Jr., Fender Hot Rod Deville, Fender Blues Deville, Penn Pennalizer 1x12, Seymour Duncan Convertible, and tons of others). It is very agreeable with every amp I have used it on. The best sounding wah on the market.

Okay this a funny one-- I play in a funk and R&B Band. This pedal gets bounced all over the midwest and sees about 2hrs+ of use for every 4hr night. 3.5 years and it finally has problems (I figure about 1000+ hrs of gigging use) This is not the same as playing in your living room, gigging use is alot harder on equipment because you really ( not just plunking around). That said, I have to admit that its failure is 70% my own fault. I took the stops out when I first got it, because I do not like to fight the stop on a wah to engage it. Some of the music I play requires me to bring it in and take quickly. By doing this I continually lean on the true bypass switch every time I play it. Considering the use I very impressed With its ability to hold up. I bought another as spare parts that was broken.
It had fell so hard that it bent the case. I fixed it ( Inductor had broken loose for the board)( This is what causes the volume pedal sound that people describe from their wah in previous reviews). I gigged out with it tonight and had no failures ( this one will be my backup until a bypass switch arrives) These pedals ( all Wahs) because of their weight and moving parts are prone to malfunction if dropped or under misused ( Stops Removed). That being said I give it a 10, I has done better than expected and outlasted alot of other gear.

Funk, Blues, Rock, You won't go wrong with this pedal. Hands down the best sound. I have been playing guitar for 23yrs. Other wahs I've owned-- Thomas Organ Co. Crybaby , Colorsound, Vox, DOD(Hate to admit that one), and Dunlop (They should stick to tires,,, HA< HA )
I have 2 and If another comes along cheap enough (especilly the black logo, no bat. door model) buy it now!

Squier -> Budda-wha -> Delay DL4 Line6 -> POD v2.0 -> Tarjeta de sonido.

Great wah sound. It's a very good wah clean and distorted. It really does a good job of preserving tone and adding wah. It is a really good pedal to own. The pedal when plugged in is pretty quiet (no hum really.) However I plugged it in with my Electro Harmonix Poly Chorus and huge hum occurs. I can't figure out which pedal is the culprit because they are both quiet by themselves. I ordered a boss noise suppressor to hopefully fix the problem. Since I can't figure out which pedal is the noisey one, I'm giving it a 9

The first one I received I kept for 5 days and sent it back. Every once and a while I would switch it on and there would be no sound from my amp for a second or two. I wanted to make sure it was a consistent problem before I sent it back. Aparently this has happened to other people. However since there are so many good reviews I'm guessing you just have to fine a good one and you'll be all set. When talking to the my music store about why the pedal died they said that a hardwire bypass for a wah is a tricky thing and was probably the culprit!

Using this with Mesa, Rivera, and Budda amps, and Fender, Reverend, and PRS guitars. Very little noise, very little hiss. The pedal always sounds terrific. There's no drop out when the pedal is activated, and the guitar signal remains fat and clean enough to be effectively eq'd ala Michael Schenker.

I play classic rock and variety, and have been playing since the early '70s. I'd buy it again because it's solid, cleaner and more versatile than the standard Crybaby(and I've owned Crybabys since Thomas Organ was making them new), and sounds... good enough. It may not be as pricey as some others, but it's a solid, clear wah, and who needs anything else? I haven't auditioned Fulltone or Teese, but I can't imagine them being lightyears better than this. Plus it looks SO COOL...

Ok it was my birthday and i was looking for a wah pedal. Tried many crybabies.....bad. They dont go wah wah the cry babies go weh weh . The crybabys just dont have that sound that a wah wah pedal should have. I tried morleys.....bad.....didnt even sound like a wah wah. Then a vox . The vox wah is almost as good as the budda , the budda just has a larger wah tone. With the budda it acually sound like some one is saying WAH WAH. Its great i love it. I can get every bodys wah sound. From clapton to hammett to hendrix. Look no further if your thinking about getting a wah ,get a budda.
