I was expecting something that would be adequate for practicing. It really sounds very good. Especially the chorus effect. Even with the included headphones. Although not quite as clear as a regular amp, it sounds very rich and full with a variety of tonal effects possible. It will make you want to practice even more.

Can't say much here. It seems sturdy enough for what it is.

Never had to deal with them. Although feedback seems good.

I play blues on a tele and would rate my skill level as intermediate. If lost or stolen, I would definately get another one. I can practice more often without disturbing anyone. It does everything I expected and much more. I will soon be trying out the aux input so I can "jam" with my walkman. My buying decision was based soley on this forum and I believe that I made the right decision.

ITS PRACTICE HEADPHONE AMP, SO THE SOUNDS ARE NOT GOING TO SOUND LIKE YOUR POD THRU TH PC, OR YOUR 4X12, BUT AS FAR AS THEY GO THEY DO EXACTLY WHAT IT SAYS IN THE TIN. THE CHORUS IS ACTUALY QUITE NICE & THE DISTORTION WAS A BIT LACKIN IN GAIN FOR LEAD STUFF BUT WHAT THE HELL DO U WANT FOR ?35.00?

THIS IS A PRACTICE TOOL. & FOR WHAT IT DOES ITS QUITE GOOD, BUT THAT'S IT , SO DONT EXPECT IT TO DO ANYTHING ELSE (IVE HEARD THERE IS A REVERB VERSION, WHICH WOULD BE NICE & IM SURE THEY WILL COME UP WITH MORE FX IN THE FUTURE) . ..FOR THOSE WHO HAVE MENTIONED THAT THERE IS A BIT OF HISS ..OF COURSE THER IS!! BUT WHAT THE FUCK DO U WANT FOR THIS PRICE BUY A BLOODY GUITAR PORT IF U WANT ALL THE DIFFERENT SOUNDS. I PLUGGED MINE INTO A GUITAR PEDAL FOR A WEE BIT MORE SOLO BALLS WHEN IM IN FRONT OF THE TELLY BUT THE WHOLE IDEA OF THIS THING IS PORTABILITY & AND FOR THAT IT GETS 10/10 . .ONLY 1 POINT OFF FOR THE SHITTY HEADPHONES!!

I am playing a PRS custom 24..and the tones for a practice amp are sweet.
CLN selection is great, DST is cool old school crunch, and PRX has a nice metal edge.
For the price...one can't really ask for more.

So far so good. I use it during rehersal when the keyboard player nad the other guitarist wont shut up enough for me to figure out a part. At gigs it is great for warming up, although I prefer using my SONY walkman ear phones over the included head set. I like this gadget.

I use a Gibson Les Paul Custom (Black Beauty) and an Ibanez S-series 7-string (Mahogany body) with it mostly. Some of the effects are a little too much for me. I usually have the on button in the middle position and the set to PRX with the CHS/REV button out.

I feel I can depend on it. I've no problems and I've had it for around 1 1/2 years. It's all I use to practice with at home. I usually run it with a pair of powered computer speakers plugged into the headphone's output. I've had friends come over and they were surprised by the tone.

I've been playing for about 20 years. The portability and durability are me favorite features. I've owned other headphone practice amps and this one kicks their butts. It's out lasted all of them and the batteries last longer.
If something happened to it, I would buy another one.

I bought this to allow me to play after 9PM. The sound is good enough especially with a good set of headphones. Remember, if you upgrade the headphones, makes sure you get a low impedance set. For example, my standard studio headphones have 600 ohm impedance so the rockit isn't designed to drive these. Stay with a set under ~100 ohms and you'll be ok. Here's another tip, try a good set of SONY style sports headphones (you've seen these at the gym or runners wear these). They are comfortable, don't hurt your ears after several hours of use, your ears will not sweat, etc. and I think you can buy these for under $25 bucks).
I play 95% of the time along with music via the input channel. This will allow you to play along with a cd, your pc, mp3, etc. Its a great practice tool.
The sound is reasonable for the price.

I purchased the Rockit to fill a specific need....basically a headphone amp that allows me to play as late in the night as I want. The aux input is great and allows one to play along with another source. I also have a Pandora's Box that I use as a headphone amp but it's not as portable as the rockit.
For me, the Rockit fills a specific need....a cheap practice tool that allows one play along with a backing track.

Just plug in and have at her. No manual needed. Quality of the sound is less than one would expect to use in public but more than enough chorus and crunch for practice. Will accept external CD Tape input for patching into lay along without any trouble at all to balance sound levels.

I use a G&L Legacy and a ASAT both about equal time and found that the single coils can make quite a lot of hum on the unit. Typical of single coils. The stereo chorus works well and I have reservations on putting a much higher than average rating on the overdrive sound quality but once again, for practice it's not bad.

Good all round headphone practice tool. Can put i a couple hours in the home every day and never bother a soul. What more can you ask. The sound quality is totaly acceptable. If I was going out to buy one of these I probably wouldn't even look at one. But now that I have one I find it is so easy to use that I started to use it quite a lot.
