Great pedal. Chad is doing the same mod that many other folks are. He installs a three way toggle switch. The middle position is the stock DD-3 (very digital and crisp), the right position is partial high cut and the left position is full high cut and approximates analog sounds very well.
Sound Quality

I love that the stock sound as there for certain situations but I find myself using the left position (full high cut) most frequently as this is a very convinving approximation of an analog delay. The high cut successively removes treble with each repeat, giving a darker tone to the pedal. It is a great effect and is almost always on in some form or another.

Absolutely. It's a BOSS pedal that has been modded by Chad Matthews - It's pretty much indestructible. I've been using this on my main pedal board for the past 6 mos and have had no issues at all.

This is where CMATMODS really shines. He is extremely attentive to customer service and I have been able to get e-mail responses back from him within an hour of sending the original message on almost every occasion. Turn around time for mods is excellent - usually around 1 week.

Chad is doing the same mod that many other folks are doing for cheaper and has a quicker turnaround time. The pedal sounds exactly as described on the website and I couldn't be happier.
