This is second review that I have done for this particular product.
Originally I had good things to say about the unit, but this unit has
given me a headache. It does your basic hook up job.
Sound Quality

Basically it does the job, to plug all your outlets in to the unit, but I say that this unit could have been better designed to start
with. To model itself on the FURMAN PL PLUS. One of the things that
annoyed me the most was the fact that the pull out lights do not
iluminate properly, the made the mistake of making the whole to far
forward so the light bulb is not showing its full light through the
whole.

To make a long story short, this unit has had 3 major problems since
I bought it. 1) The circuit braker came broke. 2)The led segments were
working for the first 10 minutes. gradually all the led segments
would dissapear, started at 120 volts then dropped to below the marking point. at one point I thought that the electrical wiring in my house was bad, then I took the unit to diferent places and voila
all the segments would dissapear, I had to get an electrician to
check the house found nothing wrong. 3) the light pole started melting
because the light bulb was in direct contact with the plastic, but I
quickly put some metal insulator so the plastic won't melt.
and once again you get better protection from a HAMMOND MANUFACTURING
isolation transformer connected to power bar.

At the time I got the product they sent me a circuit braker so I could
change it myself. The second time after advising carvin that I had the
problem since the begining, they said they would fix it, even after the guarantee had expired. But when I said they should pay for the shipping he advised me that he could follow guarantee guidelines and
not allow the fix. it sounded like an ultimatum, pay the shipping or
you won't get it fixed! I had to email the very helpfull people from
FURMAN SOUND, they found out what was wrong and advised to send it back... or they could fix it if it didn't work out with carvin.

I wouldn't buy one of these units again, you are better off buying the
FURMAN PL PLUS, and now the come with diferent colors. Buy yourself a
PL PLUS in conjunction with a HAMMOND MANUFACTURING isolation transformer..

THIS IS A POWER SUPPLY (RACKMOUNT) TO PLUG ALL YOUR EQUIPMENT AC REQUIREMENTS. IT IS VERY SIMPLE, JUST PLUG YOUR AC OUTLETS.

THE MAIN IDEA TO HOOK ALL YOUR AC POWER REQUIREMENTS IS THAT IT WILL CLEAN SOME NOISE COMING FROM THE SOCKET IN THE WALL. THIS UNIT WILL DO THAT, AS OPPOSED TO JUST PLUGGING THIS UNIT STRAIGHT TO THE WALL OR A POWER BAR.

IT HASN'T BROKE DOWN YET, BUT I FEEL SAFER BY USING MY ISOLATION TRANSFORMER INSTEAD OR IN ADDITION TO IT, SO BASICALLY I USE IT
AS A POWER BAR WITH LIGHTS.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS OK WHEN I FIRST GOT THE UNIT, IT CAME WITH A
BROKEN FUSE RESET BUTTON. THEY REPLACED IT QUICKLY. I"VE HAD
PROBLEMS WITH SHIPPING TO CANADA WITH OTHER PRUDUCTS.
BUT IN GENERAL THEY WILL LOOK AFTER YOU.

THIS IS THE FIRST RACKMOUNT POWER SUPPLY UNIT FOR THIS COMPANY, FOR THE AMMOUNT OF MONEY THAT I PAID I COULD HAVE GOTTEN A FURMAN MODEL THAT HAS MORE RESEARCH DONE FOR THIS TYPE OF EQUIPMENT. THE RESEARCH DEPARTMENT FOR THIS COMPANY FAILED TO DO THEIR HOME WORK WHEN PUTTING THIS PRODUCT OUT THERE, FIRST THE DESIGN ON THE PULL OUT LIGHTS WAS HORRIBLE IT LOOKS CHEAP MADE OUT OF PLASTIC, WHERE SIMILAR PRODUCTS FROM OTHER COMPANIES WILL INCLUDE A WELL DESIGN TRACK SYSTEM FOR THE PULL OUT LIGHTS, SECONDLY THE QUALITY CONTROL FOR THIS PRODUCT SUCKS OR NON EXISTENCE (WHY WOULD YOU SHIP A BROKEN PRODUCT)....
