I just have one more thing to add to my last review, the mono output is for doing a wet/dry stereo setup. It is supposed to be the dry signal.

I found it incredibly easy to get a good chorus sound out of this pedal.

I must disagree with everyone else. This pedal, in my opinion sounds great. It doesn't get that digital crap that most chorus pedals do these days. I can get everything from an '80's sound, to an organ sound. I use it with several homemade all tube amps, played thru a Carvin Legacy bottom, with a Les Paul, Strat, Washburn E.S. model, and several homemade guitars.

The level pot broke on the first pedal I got, but that was because I dropped my pedal board. The second one is working fine, though.

When I sent my first pedal in to be replaced, it arrived on Friday, and I got the replacement Monday. Very friendly people.

I play a mix of rock, funk, blues, jazz, bluegrass, and metal, and I have used it in just about all of them. I would buy a new one if this got stolen. My only complaint is that the switch is so sensitive, but other than that, it is one of my favorite effects.

The unit did not function out of the box. The mono output did not work. You could use the second output, but I like my new items to work for at least one day after receipt. I was able to get a chorus sound out of it, but only when all three knobs were practically at maximum. There was no user manual, which I find pathetic.

The effect itself is nothing to write home about. The chorus sound is comparable to any other low end chorus unit (in other words, it sucks).

It was defective out of the box. The mono out put did not work. Sent ot back the same day. Disappointing.

We'll see. I just sent it back yesterday with a nice, uh, love note.

This item is a piece of junk. Carvin should think before using their good name on such an inferior product that they do not manufacture themseles.

The sounds put of this unit were about like a low end pedal. Nothing special.

I used this effect with a Carvin Bolt thru a Carvin XT112 tube amp. The pedal made a clicking noise with the effect off that increased speed when the rate knob was turned up, decreased when turned down. It made a loud constant hum when the AC/DC adapter was plugged in.

I don't know how reliable it is because I sent it back.

This was the second pedal I received, because the first had the same problems. I'm assuming this is a foreign made unit bearing the Carvin name, because this is the first piece of Carvin gear I haven't been totally satisfied with. They told me to send it back for a full refund. I'm still out the shipping costs for two bad pedals, but live and learn.

I play with Carvin guitars and amps for a mix of blues, folk, waltz's,and other weird stuff. I need a chorus to thicken up some parts of tunes when playing at an acoustic volume level. I broke down and bought a Boss.
