Really easy to use. I like that you can use a remote footswitch to turn this pedal on and off. I use a two tier pedal board so it lets me get the pedal out of the way and gives me more room for pedals I turn on and off more often. Three knobs how much easier can you get?

Sound Quality : 10
I use 2 custom fender strats that go into my crybaby-tubeking-mt2-carvin delay-univibe-songworks reverb-volume pedal-'69 Fender Bantam Bass amp with a 15" CTS. This is a awesome setup for me I play everything from classical to full metal. This delay pedal works and sounds great. I can get any type of delay I want from this pedal without it effecting my guitar tone. Very straight forward and doesn't give me a "digital" sound.

Reliability : 10
This thing is built like a tank. I have no problems using it without a backup.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never had to use it.

Overall Rating : 10
I love this pedal. It gives me all the options I was looking for in a high-class pedal. If it was stolen I would buy another one. I use a dc brick, not batteries, so I can't say much about the battery compartment, but the inconvinence is worth it for the sound and options.

Foot switch, three knobs, LED, jack for remote footswitch...what could be easier...no manual, but who needs it...only problem is a fussy battery compartment...real pain to change the battery.

I have a Fender Strat and Japanese Jaguar...I also use it with my Tacoma C1C and Larrivee Parlor...for electric I have a Roland JC-55 amp and a Carvin Vintage 16...for acoustic I use a Crate CA-60...The pedal is pretty quiet...I really like the sound of this pedal...about a year ago I was going through a bunch of delay pedals, but I returned them all because I didn't like the sounds and controls...I had tried and liked the Carvin, but wanted to try a few others, so I returned in the 10 allowable days...after trying many others since then, I decided the Super Delay was my fave and reordered it...you can make it sound like an echo, slap back, even a sort of metalic type sound...it gives a really great sound for rockabilly type guitar...I can also get the delay to sound pretty close to reverb...Super Delay sounds warmer than other pedals, and doesn't have that digital sound...

Reliability : 9
This thing is built like a rock...all metal..solid, heavy, and well built...the poor design of the battery compartment is the only drawback...go with the wall-wart...I would use w/o backup...

I've bought a few things from Carvin and returned a few things. I had some noise problems with my Vintage 16...they sent new tubes...didn't help...so they paid for return shipping and are shipping me a new one...so customer support seems pretty darn good...

I play what I feel like playing...I've been a keyboard player for many years, and guitar is my second instrument, eventhough I play more guitar right now...I play Beatles, rock, blues, whatever hits me at the time...I love the sound, hate the battery compartment, and the position markers on the knobs are hard to see...I've compared it to Boss, Digitech, Dan-Electro and a bunch of other delays...this is my favorite...other pedals just sounded too digital...if it were stolen and I couldn't find the A.H. thief so I could retrieve it and smack him in the head with it, I'd buy again...
