PERFECT! Clean boost, exactly as promised. I use to play a gibson les paul gold top, and a hi-fi amp. When you increase the volume (passing the 2 o'clock), this pedal let the sound hot (a litte saturation with a incredible sensibility).

I play blues driven rock, country rock and blues. I play a vintage Tele/335/Gretsch Tennessean through a VOX AC 15 and/or a Carr Mercury. I use this tiny little pedal as a boost for solos and it serves this function very well.

Purchased from Proguitarshop.com. Good service. One knob, couldn't be easier. AC power. Small clean boost pedal, no gain whatsoever. I replaced Boss Blues Driver that I was using, as I replaced Boss as an OD pedal with Barber LTD SR.

I play totally clean classic blues through 30W Fargen Custom head/cab (6L6 tubes blackface), Fender Princeton Reverb RI (blackface) and Fender Champ 600 through Weber Alnico 10" cab (blackface). I wanted a clean boost which would drive my Barber Tone Press (compression) and Barber LTD SR (OD) for clean solos at lower home volume and also louder gig volume. Serrano Picoso does what I wanted perfectly. I play Hamer Newport Pro and Gibson ES-339 semi hollows with PAF pups, and this pedal drives sound in high register like a Clapton Fender with a built in boost. Solos are clear and clean, and Barber Tone Press adds sustain to Picoso like B.B. King's Lab 5 amp. Tone Press, LTD SR and Picoso were made for each other.I couldn't say I ever heard any pedal with more soul.

Better than anything Boss at same price, and as good as any clean boost I've ever heard. Good price, small footprint, and great sound.
