Exceedingly easy to use - Rate and Depth, On/Off, that's it.

The sound quality is excellent. It gives you that "Down By The Seaside" sound, really well. Run a keyboard through it - run your voice through it! It's a hard, choppy tremolo, real square wave; there's nothing smooth about it. However, if you dial back the depth, you can get a mellower effect.
It also can get fast - with rate and depth all the way up, you can achieve some cool, ring-modulated effects.
This pedal is incredibly well made - there's no noise, whatsoever. Also, it's really small! You can put it anywhere on your board.

It's so well made and so tight, I think I'll have this pedal for years. I use it without a back-up all the time! I sleep pretty easy at night.

I play psych. It's an amazing match - think Clinic. I've been playing for 20 years - I own a Jazzmaster and an Electric Sitar, plus a bunch of effects (this pedal works very well with everything else). If it were stolen, I would re-think my position on the death penalty.
The only thing I would change? Put the 9vDC on the back, not the side. But, I'm sure they have a reason for putting it there, that I would never understand... so, I'm cool with it as-is.
