Ease of Use

Very easy to use. Solid switches, easy recallable, just the perfect mastering eq design. It's a very balanced eq and it's very easy to get nice sound out of it by tweaking only 1-2 dB.

It's a very broad EQ and not so trasparent, also not a surgical tool. Definitely has its own vintage character and for me it took few weeks to get the right sound out of it. For a rock and other guitar tracks it can easy be the one eq in the studio. For electronic tracks, not really I guess, however it's extremely helpful everywhere because of broad strokes. Curve Bender has great powerful bass, warm and solid midrange from 800 Hz to 4 kHz and very good highs but very broad - it's working very good for rock tracks but in most cases I would need other eq for the highest top. This eq can be very powerful and sometimes you will tweak only 1 dB here and there and the result is more powerful than you can imagine. But sometimes it won't work with the certain track. Basically it does magic to the tracks without dense layers, those usually ask for warm and powerful eq which Curve Bender definitely is.

This great looking eq is a very useful tool, while we should remember what it really does. Warm and power, broad strokes and a lot of its own character. It's a very balanced and harmonized tool, if you tweak 2 or 3 bands you will get better result than tweaking one band. it's not a panacea for everything, but also not one trick pony. Can easily save very poor mixes with not so much instrument, or poor sounding instruments, which is hard to achieve with another eq. I think buying it should depends on what you already have, but if you search for a magical tool for rock, metal or other guitar based music, go for it and you will no regret. I think the price is fair.
