There are four interactive knobs plus an up and down switch. Not too bad once you figure it out - but takes some time

Great sound. Compared it to the Tonefactor / Mojo hand Filter and to the Moog 101. Each of these is nice in their own space, but the Agent Funk is the best. The Foog still affects you signal even in bypass mode via the drive knob. I loved the fooger but wound up Ebaying it after a year. I wanted something that was invisible when off. The Tonefactor is great, but less features.

Great buy - this thing is funky !!! as funky as the fooger in all ways, and has slightly more features. If you're looking for ultimate funkiness, you need to check out this purple wonder. Small box, 9V operations, true bypass, and serious funk

Not very easy. It does take about 30 minutes or so to go through the combinations of knobs to get a good sound. But I like that. I am more familiar with the pedal after.
Each knob does a lot, so be prepared to play around a bit. I had my strat sounding like Jerry, Bootsy, and yes, Eric Krasno.
Stop complaining about the learning, people. Really.

Great sound quality. I actually bought the Pigtronix EP-1 at the same time, with the intention of returning one of them.
Both had zero noise, hum, or buzz. Both have true bypass (what does it matter though if you use your pedals?).
The 00 had much more control over the sound. And yes, granted, the EP-1 is more than an envelope follower, but still, 50% of its marketable shtuff is based around its EF. It almost sounded like the EP-1 couldn't get as funky and squalchy as the 00. Just a watered down version.
I did notice that the EP-1 actually boosted my signal, despite the settings for the EF being away from the clean boost preset they show you in the manual. I didn't understand. Some of you may like this. Not me though. Clean, crisp, and funky. You need to hear it to believe it.

Here is where I should bite my tongue. The EP-1 was constructed with efforts I have not seen before in boutique pedal production. It was amazing. I assume 2/3 of its actual cost is its housing and such. That's fine. The body is solid metal, prolly aluminum. It looked extremely reliable. The jacks were soldered in tight, there was not a single loose piece on on the face. The knobs looked custom milled from aluminum, and they are actually hard to move. I always liked that. It almost feels German, you know? Great design and function, but what good is it if you never bring it out to jam? Warranty, boom, right in your face and on the website.
The 00 is constructed well. Not nearly as well as the EP-1, though. Another reviewer found it heavy. I didn't think so. It's chassis is not even as thick as a Hammond box. It seems to be stamped steel, tack soldered in certain spots. The metal appears to be bent into a box, rather than cast from liquid. It looks good though. The stomp doesn't click, yet it is true bypass...makes no noise..sweet. Up close, it reveals its weakness. Its the kind of pedal you squeeze together and you can hear the sides of the metal chassis touching. Does it seem reliable? Yes. Was there any mention of any sort of warranty? Not that I am aware of. Made in Australia, so maybe I can get a plane ticket and go talk to them.

A very good pedal compared to the Pigtronic EP-1 for EF ONLY. This is not a knock to Pigtronix at all. They seem to run a better business overall. But, if sound is what youre interested in, they pick one of these puppies up. You will NOT be disappointed, I promise. It was a little pricey for a pedal, but these are complicated electronic pedals, as many musician-geek friends of mine have told me. I love it. How practical is it? Well, set it on lightly, and keep it on, and it adds a great funky backline for anything. Make it go crazy and scare the shit out of your roomates on Halloween.
I would definetly change a few things on this pedal, but that is neither here nor there. Email me if you would like a sound clip.

Although it's a little difficult to use, this isn't a bad thing. Like most Envelope Filters, it's tought just plug-and-play and get the sound you want, so you gotta tweak with nobs. But once you sit down and fiddle with the nobs for a few hours, you'll start getting some super sick sounds out of this, from the funkiest wahs effects, to aqueous wahs, to squishy funk. This pedal is up to par or even better in some cases than the Lovetone Meatball, Mutron III, or Akai Deep Impact, all of which are quality products too, In my opinion.

-I'm using a SWR Power 750 Power Amp with a High Quality custom made cabinet that ran me 1,500.
-Upon plugging in the 00Funk seperate, there wasn't any feedback or fuzz at all. When I linked it with my Boss GT6-B, I got some minor fuzz, but that's just the cord I'm using, I think...
-The effects are great and always sound crisp and squishy.
-I can get the sounds of my favorite artists and more. From Bootsy Collins to Mike Gordon you can get uber funked sounds out of this.
-The effects are great.

-So far this pedal is very dependable, and is about the most rugged pedal I've encountered so far. VERY sturdy stainless steel construction and the circuitry is pretty amazing. Chuck Systems definately knows what the fuck they're doing.
-I can trust this pedal working for me 20 years down the road if I take care of it.

Called up Godlyke Distribution and they gave me plenty of info that I needed, and I also e-mailed Chuck Systems with 2 questions and the reply was quick and insightful.

did not get a manual - but pretty straight forward.
you can check the website for a general description

overall i would say it is a little tricky to use, but in a good way..
the range of the controls are so wide that it might take a while to set it up sensibly for the instrument you are plugging in, and the sound you are looking for. on the flipside this highlights the versatility and extreme nature of the product, which is great.
with a bit of messing around will get just about any envelope filter/touch wah type of sound you are looking. extreme wah's to dub bass sounds and everything in between and outside of that.

sounds excellent, awesome funk bass and guitar, and all sorts of sound mangling you didn't even think of. zero hiss or noise, no problems using in the studio. sounds good running anything through it, from a full mix, to just bass or guitar..
because of its extreme nature of its controls, it can produce an extremely wide range of sounds - some real speaker poppers in there, the resonant peak on the low pass filter is huge, so you need to proceed with caution each time you plug something into it, start out on the lower settings and work your way up to the sound you are looking for..

haven't had it long, but it is the most sturdy pedal i have ever seen... maybe too sturdy as it is a little on the heavy side.

this product is excellent, if you are a bass player just wanting to plug in and have a 'bootsy' sound away then mutron is probably easier, but forget it, buy the 00funk, it will do that and a whole lot more.
it appears to do everything any type of envelope filter pedal i've tried will do only giving infinitely more flexibility. you may have to pay a little more attention to the setup, but it is worth it as it is so much more tweakable.
i play live (bass) and i have a recording studio, i didn't have a good dedicated envelope filter pedal, and this is perfect for me, it will give me all the sounds i want for live use , and is sturdy enough, and will be a very useful studio tool as well, with all sorts of applications not just for bass but for use on on other instruments as well.
