Ease of Use : 9
this is a colorsound jumbo box pedal. it has four knobs: depth, spedd, regeneration and a mode switch with 3 options: 'auto' (usual flanging), 'a.d.t.' (automatic double tracking) and 'man'(manual).the 'manual'-mode in fact is a filter matrix option, but there's a "man" named plug at the side of the effect: with tools like a volume pedal i think You can perform the swoosh You usually can do by moving the depth knob in filter-matrix-mode (f.e. electro harmonix electric mistress). i need to find out about this one yet.

this a four knobs flanger, but it acquires some patience. the main thing is that the two flanging modes ask for different amounts of regeneration to make it shine. the a.d.t. mode tends to sound outta tune more easily.

Sound Quality : 10
ok, it's my favourite stompbox flanger. i had one in the late 70s but sold it, becazuse it gulped too much batteries!!!
it can get noisy with the regeneration souped out. high hisses come along with that. but what do You expect from a mud fight when it's Your favourite waste of time? gettin' dirty of course!!!
this is the most glamorous flange sound i know, it's not exactly ambient like some chorus pedals, but it shines. this pedal gives You some unique tones.

Reliability : 10
it's most probably 35 years old now. let the old dog stay at home! beside this, the colorsound pedals are not known for breaking easily. it's still alive & kicking that's why i give it a 10. so who knows, maybe i'd take it out for a ride someday.

Customer Support : 10
well, this pedal isn't built anymore, but steve and anthony macaris (http://www.colorsound.co.uk) supplied information on this ancient pedal their company has built. thank You guys, i know i was on Your nerves. by the way, what about a reissue?

Overall Rating : 10
stolen? broken? oh my god, life ain't no use anymore. it took me months to find infos on this one and finally had two offers. i chose to give the bucks to a fellow musician, thank You ben!!!
i own a huge dump of old, beatup equipment i love and keep in good sports. this is one of my teenage love affairs and, unlikely many others, still has some fascination on me. so my "ten" is jhyper subjective!!!
