I've used an Ibanez roadstar s/s/s and a homemade guitar, mahogany body and neck dimarzio paf, schaller humb. I bought this pedal in -78, and used it off and on since then. The sound is clear with a wide range. The wah effect is warm and crisp, far better than the modded crybaby I've also got. The fuzz is not very useful, sounds like a mad chainsaw...volyme effect is ok. The problem with my pedal is that if I press the pedal halfway down, the volyme increases...I think colorsound changed this pedal, and started to build a smaller one that didn't have this "side-effect". But the sound is really fine, and you can avoid this volyme-boost problem if you use a compressor.

I also pick up russian radio-stations (only in fuzz-mode, though...)Can I depend on it? Well, it eats batteries so I made a dc-plug in that I use instead.

I play blues, pop, rock. I've played for 25 years. I use an Ibanez roadstar, and a homemade les paul copy. Trademark 10 amp. Danelectro echo. Crybaby. The colorsound goes well with blues, vintage rock and pop.
