Very easy to use. The genral design of the pedal is like a wah-wah that controls the speed of the phase effect real time.
My unit has been modified to add a dry/wet mix control on the side and a resistor on the input to lower the signal slightly. The signal distorted with a guitar.
Sound Quality

Wonderful deep phaser. I've found units with more control on them but none of them sound as deep.
Sound great with bass. (JD and a Trace) With my Aria guitar the input would distort easily until a resistor put put on the input and the level is now perfect.

As long as you keep the screws on the side tight it's fine.

The greatest phaser I've used.
I now have a Zoom 8080 which has a good phaser on it but it's not as deep as the superphase.
