Very nice. The tone you have worked so hard to get will not be masked. Works really well with a strat and a deville. No issues here. There are only so many ways you can write "this is good" so ill just put another tick in the box.

Solid. Coopersonic will probally read this review so I may as well give them some pointers for the future. If you design a product where you turn it on and off with your foot its probally not a good idea to have the knobs which shape your tone so close to the switch. But if you really have to then use pots that are stiffer. Its that simple. I gig a lot and it has survived easily but I do tape up the knobs so I dont knock them when I press the switch... Why would you do that its just going to anoy everyone??? Why not put a metal gaurd to protect the knobs?
Another issue is that the you should alway use metal jack bolts. Why make a great product then cut such a small corner? If you pull on your guitar lead it pulls out the jack bolt. Not an issue if its in the middle of a chain but would anoy someone whos using it direct.

Good product but a little more thought could have gone into it. At leasy wait until your a really big company before you start selling out.
I should probally proof read what I have written but I have better things to do. Just thought I would give you an honest opinion. Besides I never make mistakees.

It is an overdrive with volume, gain, bass, and treble. All of the controls have a pretty extreme range so you can get some ugly sounds as you push the extremes. You can also get some heavenly sounds as you tweak. Not too tough to dial in.

I am using it right now with a Schecter Hellraiser with Single Coil EMG pickups (H/Neck and HA/Bridge
It is only noisy when the volume and gain are turned way up.
This thing sounds great.
I am using this with a Damage Control Womanizer Pre-Amp going direct.
Sounds great at low gain....British, dynamic overdrive. Very responsive and amp-like. Has a very large range of gain and volume. I switched out the 12ax7's the previous owner had placed in it for a pair of Mullard 12AT7's. Really great dynamic responsive sound with these. Sweetness. Sounded good with the 12ax7's but the 12at7's made it very special.
I am now looking for a good boost to pair this with as my only overdrive.

I play music that would be influenced by 60's rock, art-rock, post-punk, electronica, post-rock, indy and fusion.
This is a unique product and has a very distinctive tone.
I like it very much.

This thing sounds absolutely brilliant. It won't produce a bad sound - every setting is musical and useable. I've used it to record loads of songs because it's got bags of personality.

I've recorded with the Coopersonic using a Boogie DC3, AC30, some Marshalls and a Fender Bassman. It sounds amazing through any of them - it's particularly cool paired with a proper 1960s AC30. This is proper kit - for a valve pedal it doesn't get hot and has very little noise.

Coopersonic are great - Martin Cooper really knows his stuff. Since gettign the pedal we've asked him to build us some custom stuff (preamps etc) and they are just as cool as this. He also fixed our AC30 after it caught fire!!

I simply wouldn't use any other distortion pedal after using this. Neither will you if you try it.

Amazingly simple. 4 knobs. Bass, Treble, drive and volume.

In a word, superb. Although it's an overdrive pedal it sounds nothing like those crappy boss overdrive pedals or the like.
Someone else here has compared it the Big Muff and there are some similarites in terms of the thick and sheeny sounds both pedals are capable of but unlike the Muff, this pedal doesn't smash your guitar sound down to harmonics. It maintains an unbelievable amount of clarity. Even at high drive settings you can hear the "personality" of your guitar (Telecasters sound markedly different to SG's for instance) and you can hear the shape of the chord, even open chords with 6 strings ringing.
The bass and the treble operate just as you want them to, boosting and cutting around the right frequencies and between these two knobs you can get a large variety of different tones. Also, unlike a lot of drive pedals I've used where they start to sound weak and harsh once the drive is turned past a certain point, the drive on this baby can go all the way up and it'll still sound great!

I'm in a band fairly influenced by 90's bands like Dinosaur Jr, Smashing Pumpkins, Sonic Youth etc and we use a lot of open tunings. I've found this pedal ideal for playing this kind of music but I've also used the pedal in my work as a producer with great results on everything from Grunge bands, Blues Bands, Rock bands, Epic, Prog, Space Rock bands...you get the idea?
In case you haven't got the idea yet this is hands down my favourite drive pedal ever!

4 knobs, so very easy to start finding the sound you want!
Only misses out on 10 because the drive knob has a couple of very specific 'sweet spots' depending on what your style is, and a couple of times i've stamped on the pedal and accidentally knocked the drive knob out of position, thus leaving the sweet spot!
Manual tells you all you could wish to know.

Sodding incredible.
I use this as my full on 'wall of noise' overdrive. I've been trying out various pedals in this role for a good couple of years. The Big Muff worked ok, but lacked the tonal subtlety i wanted and could end up sounding like a heavily driven synthy sound. Used the Hyde from the Jeckyl and Hyde, but that relied too much on what the Jeckyl chip was trying to do. Jackhammer just sounded like a crappy model from a Zoom mult-effect.
Wheras the coopersonic is everything you want. Thick and rich, but subtle and warm, and adaptable at the same time!
I use Fender Thinline/Custom through a Fender Twin, with various ever-changing efects inbetween, and no matter what my set-up, the Coopersonic always sounds excellent!
Oh, and it's the quietest overdrive i've ever used. Even getting up beyond 2 o'clock on the drive, you rarely get unwanted feedback!

It's got valves in it, so has to be cased in what looks like a bulletproof box!
I've gigged it mercilessly without backup. If it got lost or stolen (more likely) i'd replace it the next morning no matter what. I'm convinced it's qualities can't be replicated!
Run off a kettle lead so nice and hardy, no brittle sockets.

Never had to deal with them. It's got a 12 month guarantee, but if anything goes wrong it'll be years from now.
They're a small Nottingham company so i'm more confident with them than with the Bosses of this world!

I play Alternative/Post-Rock, for which it seems this pedal was born! I've been playing in bands for about 10 years now. Gone through guitar gear, amp gear and effects changes, so had a bit of experience with gear.
Love the mix of grit and warmth, and the sheer bloody power of the thing!
Oh, and it has a cool little blue LED!

I use it with a Rickenbacker 360, Vox AC30, Marshall 2000 (50W). It's very quiet for an overdrive.
It sounds warm & smooth, a little like a bigmuff, but more robust and richer sounding.

I bought this pedal because it seemed a bit different to other overdrives out there. Looks unique, uses a kettle lead rather than batteries, really tough, and provides me with the 'full' distorted sound I sometimes need.
