y have a coron heavy overdrive. dont know if it is 0300. but i is not i think cos it has four knobs. whatever it is wicked fuckin good

. i used alot of overdrive pedals like boss od 3 and 2 or marshall jackhammer or dod or boss gt 3 or digitech rp 12 or zoom 1010 or what else i just can say oh dude its awasome. warmer sound ever and fastest answer back to effects. what can i say so.

I play a wide scale from pop to progressive. ive benn playing for 6 years. if itwas stolen i dont think i can find the same pedal. (they are rare) sound is awasome and easy to use. bass mid and treble knobs are so sensitive so i can nearly use it as a complex equalizer. they are good. no bad point.

Early-80's Japanese made Overdrive unit, white metal case with black letters, LED
Very easy to use, just two knobs for gain and volume
battery compartment is cool, no clip to break off, it has a slot that you plug the battery into and you're good to go

The Coron pedals are great, every one I've ever played sounded good right away, this overdrive is not a gain monster, but the tone is wicked! Like a rangemaster with more gian but no noise, like a wah half-cocked, like an old MXR 6-band EQ, it gives you overdrive gain but with an emphasis on the upper mids (not too peaky like tube screamers are)
What sets it apart from so many other OD boxes is that when your amp is turned up you can hold any note and it starts feeding back to the high harmonic instantly! Unreal!
If you want the sound of the old Boston LP's, or Judas Priest, or Queen's "we will rock you" look no further!!!
Doesn't seem to suck tone like the Boss and Ibanez boxes

Sturdy metal case like all the Coron pedals I've seen, never had any problems, like I said, no battery clip to break off

I'm told the Coron pedals were made at the same Japanese factory as the old Pearl and Yamaha pedals...could be I'm not sure but the sound quality is as good or better than the others
Obviously there is no customer support but pedals made this well rarely break right?

I play all styles of music but mainly rock for the last 25 years, I have tons of OD and distortion pedals, vintage and new, and this one is one of the holy grails, I've never heard another OD like it before
I t has a very familiar sound to it, like you've heard it on record but didn't know what it was
I would hate to lose this so I keep a good eye on it and I'm definitely looking for another one but I never see the Coron pedals around unfortunately, never on ebay or anywhere
